We had a nice meal at The Village last week. Ambience is really nice outside..I thought prices were decent (although higher for Bali but quality food). The only issue we had was the service, for some reason we got lost in the shuffle on a relatively slow night. Cocktails took forever and then food almost 40 minutes..not the end of the world. Great people watching and 10% discount if staying at Griya Santrian. Would reco!

This is really a beautiful restaurant, but unfortunately for the amount that you pay the food is just not up to standard much better options in Sanur, and yet i feel that it would be very easy for the village to improve and be up in the top 10

I may be unusual, but after a week in Bali enjoying cocktails, mocktails, Bintang and yummy fruit juices, I am just dying for a good red wine to have with dinner. While most of the resorts offer a limited variety of wines, The Village has THE BEST variety of international wines all housed in the hermetically controlled "cellar" behind the glass door in the restaurant. We enjoyed our meals (excellent Italian food) so much on a previous night that we went back and decided to order wine this time as well. It might not be as cheap as buying it an Australia but the choice is excellent and adds just that little extra to a delightful meal. From pizzas/pastas/meats and seafood to the scrumptious desserts, The Village is a must for eating out in Sanur. We were collected and dropped back off at our hotel too which is most convenient and easy.
