What more could you ask for? Very impressed with the decor, food, drinks, friendly staff and very entertaining musicians. Good value too. We will be back!

“"Indonesian feast" is good value”
Reviewed January 1, 2013

We ordered the "feast" after reading tripadvisor reviews, the one you need to book a day in advance. We had more than two people in the company so we just aded an extra main dish for each of them (that was the deal we got from the restaurant). We loved the service - the guys sent a car for get us, and we lived in two locations in different parts of Sanur, and they picked up both of us and dropped us off afterwards - all part of the package! And it was the manager who gave us a lift back home. We felt very special.
The feast was good and big, but I could go with more variety: there was only one fish, one pork and one beef, and about five variations of chicken. If you don't like spicy don't wory, there was only one medium hot dish, everything else was suitable for western people.
And they had live entertainment the night we were in.
The feast if good to do at the beginning of your trip - this way you will know better what to order next. We tried most of the dishes at our hotel a breakfast so pur visit was not as exciting as it could have been.

“Gotta love a place that will open the kitchen for you!!”
Reviewed December 9, 2012 via mobile

We arrived late off our plane from Australia and desperately needed a meal. Everything else in Sanur was closed and turned us away so even after arriving at 10.00 p.m. the staff and owner(?) / manager were warm and welcoming and served some delicious local dishes. Definitely worth a look.

“The best food”
Reviewed November 28, 2012

The food is excellent, unreal place, very attentive and friendly staff, good price. They had a band playing relaxing music. If you sit inside it is quieter, being on the main road the traffic is a bit noisey.

“So much food!”
Reviewed November 11, 2012

We booked here for Rijstafel (hope I spelled that right) which you have to organise the day before.
We arrived at 7 and found our table was 2 tables pushed together. This made us nervous as there was only my wife and I.
This was all made clear when our food started to arrive. ALL 21 COURSES OF IT! The water took the time to explain each dish to us and then left us to scratch our heads and wonder where to start. The food was absolutely beautiful and enough to feed 4 people. Other diners and pedestrians on the street stopped to look at this feast and the two gluttons gleefully tucking in.
Course after course of Indonesian delights started to weigh heavily on us and we didn't manage to get through it all.
At this point the owner stopped by our table and explained that only 3 people had ever managed to finish everything. She is a lovely lady who takes a genuine interest in your thoughts and dining experience.
The price: $30 aus for everything. Unbelievable.
