Friendly staff, clean & well serviced room, love the afternoon relaxing on the beach on the sun lounges in the shade. Didn't eat there but ther is a lot of restaurants within walking distance with good prices.

I had planned to stay here for 10days.
After waiting in reception (No Aircon) for over 2 hours for our room to be ready and then finding out I couldn't get in or to the front door as there was a step didn't impress me at all.
I'm a Paraplegic and sent many emails to make sure I got a wheelchair friendly room.
I didn't!! I could even get in the bathroom to use the toilet or shower. I only spent one night and checked out!!
The ramps here are VERY steep and dangerous!!
They had to add a temp ramp so I could get into the room. A thin piece of wood held down by sticky tape!!!
To get into the dining area to eat is a Horrendous VERY STEEP and DANGEROUS concrete ramp. Very short too which makes it a death trap coming down.

So if yr in a wheelchair, or use a walking aide or elderly DONT stay here.

The gardens are lovely and right on the beach.
The photos of the website are deceiving.
Pools and rooms aren't as nice as the Picts shown on Booking.com.
Pool was very warm(it's very hot here in bali) so you'd like to cool off in a cooler pool.

The meals were nice and staff are very friendly.

Just had another 7 days at the Mecure Sanur, always a nice relaxing hotel and setting. Nice clean rooms friendly staff, nice breakfast, what more can you ask for. See you again soon. sooner better than later.

Room tip: Any room is nice but if you have trouble climbing stairs please ask for a downstair room

we liked the location, both pools and a good breakfast. As it was our last accommodation on a very active 3 week trip through Java & Bali (we started in Jakarta) we used it to get some rest before returning to Holland and did't try to undertake any activities.

This was our second visit to the Mecure. We love Sanur and it's laid back feel.
The hotel has an excellent location on a wide sandy beach, one of the best in Sanur.
There is a large choice of restaurants from simple warungs to a wide variety or restaurants that cater for all tastes eg pizza, seafood and European.
We organised to be picked up from the airport the cost being 250000rp. They were waiting for us and it was very efficient. We arrived at 11.30 pm and checking was very quick and the staff friendly and efficient. We booked the larger 42sq mt room with king bed. It was the same room we had two years ago. Room 206.
We felt the rooms are really tired and are in desperate need of an update.
The bathroom was large, but again in need of renovation. Although cleaned daily they are mouldy and the towels are thin and need replacing.
We also had some sort of animal running around in the roof at night.
Breakfast was adequate, after 10 days it became repetitious.
Dinner at the restaurant was very good, either a buffet, or Al a carte. We are Accor members so food eaten in the restaurant was 2 for 1 which made it very reasonably priced. We did think it strange that the buffet was not included as when we travelled to Thailand and Fiji the buffet was included.
Again I use the word tired to describe the resort, as the roof of the restaurant had tarpaulins covering it which looked like they had been there for quite a long time.
The underwater lights in the pool near the restaurant were floating around freely which was quite dangerous. The pool towels were thin and faded, and need replacing.
Overall it is a well priced hotel with a great position,well maintained large gardens. Lovely staff that are so friendly and willing to help.
I do think it is time for some renovations and updates to improve the property,
