We stayed after a week in Legian and loved a week enjoying the relaxing side of Bali. Great access to facilities from our rooms. Huge variety at breakfast. Extremely helpful staff - especially the recreation team. Easy walking to massages, local restaurants and resort bus to go shopping. Peaceful at night for a good nights sleep. Kids had a ball.

Me and my partner fully enjoyed our 8 nights at Mercure. The hotel is well situated just a 5 minute walk into the beginning of Sanur's main street, although you will need a taxi to the other end! The hotel owns a clean and quiet section of the beach and two lovely pools with plenty of sunbeds to choose from. Our room was just what we needed but seemed to be in need of refurbishment i.e, dripping air conditioning, walls in need of painting, broken tap that squirted water sideways past the sink and skirting boards beginning to disintegrate in the bathroom. Although, we did not mind these flaws and it did not impact on our opinion or experience at the Mercure, But I understand it may for other couples. Our superior room appeared authentic with a pretty outdoor feel shower and bathroom; including a bath, wardrobes (safety box), toilet and two types of showers. The room was very clean and had a big king size bed! All staff were very friendly and helpful!

Smelly bedrooms , dirty bathrooms, what else ? Disappointed. :( only the location which is perfect nearby the beach. The bedrooms have nice design also the bathrooms but not well keeping. The first impression when entering the room "wow smelly bedroom " and I put my parfum paper hanged in the airco.

Room tip: Please more clean!

I think this hotel could learn a great deal from the wonderful staff and service at our previous hotel in Candidasa at which we spent five fantastic days at prior to our two disappointing nights at the Mercure.

Mercure seemed to be unable to cope with having our room ready, they did not provide any in room or verbal information about the hotel or facilities or restaurant, the pool areas were not inviting and pool towels were not always available, the hot water was poor and upon leaving there was no thank you for staying or anything that made us feel valued as customers.

I am however very grateful to the gentleman who arranged another room for us following our encounter with a snake near our room.
