GIT GIT TWIN WATERFALL

Stay away please !!
This place is the worst scam I’ve almost ever experienced
We arrived by scooter and instantly asked for “donation” from some random
Then we were forced to have a guide who was SO aggressive with us we just said yes to everything
He instantly started to argue with us and I was scared by the way he acted and intimidated
We couldn’t say no
it’s NOT needed to have a guide but we felt so intimidated by this guy we just said yes

Then you walk on all paved concrete to a booth and pay 20$ to enter most waterfalls you pay about 2$
But this scam is 20$ saying the money goes to the students which is a complete lie
Then you expect the waterfall to be amazing but they actually suck ,honestly
They so brown coloured and dry season so hardly worth your time
Why you would ever need a guide is beyond me it’s so easy to walk there and it’s all paved walkways so not like the guide is taking you through the forest to a secret waterfall super super silly

Please DONT go here
They will take your money and over charge you beyond belief

We have now been to 9 waterfalls in ALL of Bali and this was by far the worst and not beautiful at all the scariest( guides trying to scare you ) and intimidate you to pay $

I was so happy to get out of there and leave that tourist trap
Save your $$$ dont go !!!!!!

Our driver parked on the road near a path (between 2 small shops) into Git Git. It was not the attraction parking lot, so cannot verify about guides wanting to charge for tours. We did not pay to enter. It is a pleasant walk (maybe half a mile), without a guide, down a path with artisan stalls selling souvenirs, Batik, photo albums etc., at really cheap prices. The falls are pretty, with a pond at the bottom guarded by a small shrine. Worth the walk.
Looking at the pictures, I believe some people were at a different waterfall.
