We stayed at The Mulia for just 2 nights. It's big, bold and brand spanking new. All the pools and decor are sumptuous and decadent. We were amazed by the high end gadgets such as the toilets and the bathroom toiletries is the best I've ever seen. We had a little pool but you could easily use the many large pools surrounding the hotel. It deserves to be busier, maybe it was low season. The breakfast buffet is the best one I have ever seen, go mid morning as it can also serve as brunch/lunch.
We dined at their a la carte restaurant Soliel. The food and service was brilliant! The only let down was we felt such a restaurant should enforce a more elegant/formal attire as this affected the ambience of the restaurant.
Overall I would recommend this hotel if you have already seen other parts of Bali (as this place as is most of Nusa Dua is designed so you don't leave the resorts). The spa is pricey but it was undoubtably one of the best massages I've ever had! More
