The best things about this hotel are the beautiful gardens and fountains, the location, being right on the beach, and the Japanese buffet available at one of its restaurants; the breakfast buffet is also excellent, as are all the staff serving in all the bars and restaurants. The rooms are clean and comfortable but a bit tattered round the edges. The potentially stunning lobby area is bizarrely trashed with some ugly Disney style mural clingling to the ceiling. And the hotel has a bit of a split personality - although most guests seemed to be honeymooners, the sorts of loud pool-based activities on offer seemed more apt for a Med kids club. Similarly, at night, almost every bar and restaurant has some sort of entertainment (avoid block 2 if you want quietness, away from the bar musicians) as if guests must be distracted away from each other whenever they eat or drink (but I did like the xylophone gently beckoning everyone to breakfast). The beach is probably the best way to avoid this - and it is a lovely beach. The staff round beach are also very accommodating, arranging loungers and drinks. It is a very large hotel but, from most angles, seems to hide its vastness so you don't seem to be just one of thousands.
