“Get the Wood Fired Pizza!!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 21, 2014

Have have been coming to the bali collection each stay when in bali. This is the first time we went to uno, mainly due to seeing that wood fire oven sitting at the front of the restaurant. On sitting we were greeted with drinks and grabbed some appetizers (garlic bread and calzones). All 4 of us ordered pizzas, knowing the oven was there. On delivery of our pizzas from first bite they were awesome, perfectly cooked, right amount of toppings, nice sauce. I'm usually picky when eating in bali and never go for anything too exotic. Reading the other reviews it may seem this place may not be very good but realistically go with the simplicity and strengths. Quality, garlic bread, pizza, calzone, pasta and you can't go wrong. Drinks were reasonably priced, however were not overly cold which was a minor let down.

“A very bad experience”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 20, 2014

5 of us for dinner on Mon 18 Aug 2014. Bruschetta arrived fairly quickly but then the gap before main course was 50 mins!!

Wife and I shared fish banquet. It was dreadful-crab shells with nothing inside, fish was small, tasteless, full of bones and 'off'. I had 'Bali Belly' next day. (I have been going to Bali for 25 years and never had it before)

The place is always pack, maybe because its one of the first Italian resto upon entering Bali Collection. Were seated in 10 minutes and we ordered pasta, rissotto, and a local duck dish. Pasta was very al dente (undercook) rissotto a bit watery but the duck dish was good...cooked with coconut. We had the banana fritter dessert and is quite good. Add 21% tax and service to prices.

“Excellent pizza, crowded place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 5, 2014 via mobile

When in Bali it may not be the most creative idea to go for Italian, but after some local food before we craved for that kind of dinner. When we got there it was fully occupied but a friendly waiter took our reservation and returning 20min later we could sat down as promised. Outside seating is ok, near the mall entrance and fountain. We enjoyed friendly service, fast enough too. Mozzarella with tomatoes, garlic bread and two pizzas, one with individual topping. All good, pizza excellent with thin crust. Wine was rather expensive though we took the house white. Can recommend the place, we would go again, but of course being on Bali we stick to local food for the rest of the stay :-;
