I’ve been around archipelago experience some outlets in hotels, and I found out that Kayuputi is one of the best outlet. They offer a luxury restaurant right on the white sand beach and surrounding by the pool with very generous staff and warmly hospitality.
This is the restaurant that you must be listed and visited during your holiday in Bali, I bet you’ll enjoy it.

We love our champagne and this dinner didn't disappoint with some perfect pairing along the way. The Amuse was a lovely fresh plump oyster with a blood orange vinaigrette served with Nicolas Feuillatte Brut Rose. What a way to start!! As the evening went on each meal was superbly presented and each champagne was perfectly matched. From deep sea scallops, duck foie gras and a lovely succulent milk fed veal we could not fault a meal and with a 1999 Palmes d'Or Magnum, a Brut Reserve and a Brut Rose to compliment these dishes we were in our element. Bringing all this together was a team of professionals. With the open kitchen you could see the Chefs working like clockwork and supported by the wait staff everything went off without a hitch. A perfect night - Thank you to the St. Regis and all the staff at Kayuputi Restaurant.

My husband and I enjoyed one of the best wine dinners at Kayuputi last Friday. Friends who live in Bali recommended we go along and we were not disappointed. From the time we walked in we were greeted with wonderful service, lovely Champagne and very tasty canapés. The food was superb, inventive and beautifully presented from the Oyster Amuse to the Scallop to the Veal which I would have to say was some of the best I have ever had. The wines were all Champagnes and were well matched to the food and plenty of it. We even received a free bottle to take home! Kayuputi has an open kitchen and it was great to watch the chefs at work. The service was very elegant and attentive and friendly too which always adds to the experience. All round a fabulous night of food, wine and the best service. Would recommend it to anyone.

We decided to get a babysitter and dine at Kayuputi on one of our last nights in Bali. This restaurant says its fine dining and prices are comparative with fine dining prices in Australia. the resort is beautiful and the setting lovely. For starters we had scallops and a Casar salad. The caesar salad was delicious and the scallops were also tasty but for AUD$32 you only got 2 scallops which was very disappointing. For main course we got the house special hot seafood platter which was also disappointing. The squid was rubbery and undercooked in some parts and over cooked in others. The fish was very overcooked and dry. The lobster was nice.
When we eat out at fine dining establishment we like to take our time and enjoy the experience. on. When we arrived we had a pre dinner cocktail ad about 2 minutes after that our starters arrived. We had then asked if we could have a break in between our starters and main which they did, but not as long as we hoped. For dessert we had passionfruit soufflé which was nice but a bit too eggy.
we were in and out in under 2 hours.
We were expecinbg a bit more from this evening and dong think we would come back again based on this experience.

We dined at Kayaputi on Sunday 27th July for the famous Astor Sunday Brunch. When we were last in Bali we experienced the Boneka brunch (and reviewed it as 5 stars) and so we were very excited about doing the top end brunch at the St Regis.

The proceedings start at 11am for cocktails and we arrived fashionably late at 11.10am. Much to our disappointment, the champagne lounge where cocktails were advertised as being served was full and so we were made to sit at our table which slightly affected our initial impressions. Anyway, we tucked into a Bloody Mary as we were convinced all would go well from there onwards.

So the good: amazing food, fabulous service and great drinks.

The bad: The brunch cost with drinks package is $200 per head and everyone who attended the brunch was dressed to impress. Unbelievably the hotel allows walk ins for their standard lunch menu during the brunch which meant that we were surrounded by people wearing board shorts eating fries! I have no issue with this but surely a hotel of the standard of the St Regis should be able to make alternate plans whilst the brunch is on. It is advertised as the premium brunch experience in Bali (and it so easily could have been) but I did not expect to share this experience with people fresh from the sea!

We spoke to the restaurant staff and they were equally perplexed that this was allowed to happen which speaks volumes

C'mon St Regis. You surely must be able to plan to stop this happening again
