“Dreamland”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 1, 2014

This is another one of the famous South Bali beaches. Located in a huge gated development, access is via a shuttle bus from the car park. No worries, it is a simple 5 minute drive and is free. The beach itself is not big and is actually more suitable for and attractive to the surfers community. Nonetheless, there is lovely white sand, beautiful blue water - however it is not really recommended for swimming as the waves are rough. There are numerous bars/ warungs at the small beach space so you do have unpleasant overcrowding. Worth a visit!

“Used to be Nice! Better go to Balangan beach”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 26, 2014 via mobile

Dream Land beach!! What happened??? Not such a dream anymore. More a nightmare. Used to be a beautiful with small Warungs and little "hanging" hotels in The rocks. Now it looks like a tourist trap for Japanese and Chinese people. All Warungs and idillic hotels are gone and one massive concreet unfinished and ugli "new Kuta Hotel" has been build against The rocks. Such a shame of this used to be Nice place.
Balangan beach is now what used to be Dreambeach. Hope it Will stay That way.

“1 of the most beautiful beaches in Bali”

So beautiful, that when you see the beach at first, you are amazed. You don't expect to see something so nice. I loved it here. Quiet, good waves and beautiful.

“Small beach, huge waves, many people”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 23, 2014

It is an alternative beach to go. However there are alot of people and the beach is relatively small. I personally do not recommend children to go there as it is relatively dangerous due to the huge waves.

The place are quite pushy with their boogie boards rental and the chair rental along the beach. However, they only have 1 cafe there so tourist were left with no choice.

During my 1 hour "stay" there, I got approach almost 10 times and forced to use the boards.

“Good place to chill”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 23, 2014 via mobile

Visited in the afternoon while on the way to another place. Our guide told us it is a rather popular place. Indeed there were many visitors and it was blazing hot. Nonetheless the waves and sea breeze is really worth it. If you find that renting sun beds are expensive, opt to try the cafe whereby you can just order simple drinks and enjoy the ocean. There will be a shutter bus that will pick you and drive you to dreamland beach from where the parking area is. It only comes every 5 minutes, so it isn't much of a wait.
