In May, We made a booking through http://www.apinn-bali.co.id for 11 rooms for our 28th August trip.
We received the confirmation email after giving our credit card guarantee and we even called up to confirm the booking! Few days before departure, we wrote to re-confirm again the booking as we knew that the price has increased since our last booking and we received a reconfirmation email in return.
On 28th August (which is a holiday peak period in Indonesia) when we arrived at the hotel, we were told that we had never make any reservation with them. When we showed them the emails, they said everything was a scam and they have no rooms for us. However when we were trying to argue with them, two tourists walk in and asked for a room and the other receptionist took them to a side and told them that they have rooms available and of course with a higher price.
The receptionists told us that they tried to call the person in charge but could not reach him and they kept on told us that the rooms were all fully booked. We have no choice but to spend the rest of the day searching for other hotels.
We will never trust this hotel again. The way of doing business is totally wrong!More
