The location of Dewi Sri could not be anymore perfect. For two young adults this hotel was perfect. Incredibly close (2min walk) to Jalan Legian which is the street where all the shops, bars, clubs and restaurants are. Nice pool and restaurant area. Breakfast was a bit of a downer, but the necessities were there (we found it cheap enough to go out to other places for breakfast in the mornings) Would defiantly stay again!

Also, the fact that you had to pay for wifi was really annoying - but nevertheless you're on holiday for a reason! All the restaurants and bars we went to had free wifi anyway.

Room Tip: Go for a superior room!

Brilliant hotel, exactly as advertised - our family room was more than adequate with two huge bedrooms. The room was very clean and the folded towels were a lovely surprise. The free breakfast was lovely and the pool area was great with a swim up pool bar - beers were 30,000 for small and 54,000 for the large ones. We had a room down the back - in the corner on the ground floor - but only about 30m from the pool. The location right in the heart of Kuta was fantastic - we were able to walk everywhere easily. If we did get a taxi often we would get them to drop us at the top of Poppies II to save $ and it was only a one minute walk to the hotel from the monument. We will stay here for sure next time - very impressed. 5/5 - well deserved!

Room Tip: On the ground floor we could hear the people above scraping chairs and stomping - all rooms are with...

Just returned (Yesterday) from a week at the Dewi Sri.

Decided to upgrade room at check in and was given a great downstairs room right next to the pool for an additional 150 000 Rupiah per day.

The hotel is located in a fantastic spot a few minutes walk from both the beach and close to Jalan Legian.

The beds were a bit hard and the breakfast was adequate but with minimal choices.

Apart from the location the best attractions of the hotel are the fantastic gardens and beautiful clean swimming pool.

All the staff at the hotel were very friendly and attentive.

If you do stay at the Dewi Sri try and purchase from the small stalls in the laneway as the only trade they get is from passing traffic from the hotel

Lisa (I think second store on the left) from the hotel sells clothes cheaper than anywhere else in Kuta and her husband Mega is a friendly and cheap transport driver who took us around Ubud for the day before driving us to Echo Beach for dinner which is a must.

Definitely a good choice for location and value in Kuta

Room Tip: Worth upgrade to ground floor room by the pool

Didnt really stayed and recce the hotel as much bcos i was on diving trip in the day mostly. But the hotel was quite beautiful and clean. The security at the main gate was quite tight as they checked every vehicle that pass through or if they see any locals passing through. So we feel quite safe.
Breakfast spread was not much. Very basic and not so nice. However i dun mind staying at this hotel again.

I was pleasantly surprised when first arriving. The restaurant, pool and surrounds were beautiful and well maintained. Excellent location, only a short walk to the centre of Kuta/Legian- just watch out for the ladies in the laneway heading in and out of the hotel - once they get a hold of you they do not let up. Apart from the dodgy room door and leaking toilet, I would receommend Dewi to anyone looking for an affordable, quiet getaway.

Room Tip: Ask for a ground floor room as the stairs are very steep and would be hard to climb if you've ha...

We stayed at this hotel for a total of 10 nights whilst in Bali this trip. We spent the two nights in the middle in Jimbaran Bay which gave us a good comparison to what we were getting.
The hotel cost us about $60 per night and for that price I was expecting a bed to sleep in and a basic breaky. But we got dropped there late on the first night and check in was smooth and easy. The staff were really friendly and escorted us to our room. Now the rooms are basic, they have a bed, writing desk, side tables, an old television and a bathroom but they are clean.
The room service and house keeping services were excellent. The only thing we would like to see is a bathroom renovation but don't let that put you off staying here.

The pool is amazing and clean and we spent a lot more time at the hotel because the recreation area was so lovely and the drinks weren't expensive.

I got sick on this trip and at 2am my husband ran down to the front desk. They have a doctor on call and they were there within 30 minutes. The quality of the doctor was exceptional and even better than some I have experienced in Australia. The staff were very caring and followed up on my progress over the next few days and made allowances for cleaning our room around if I was able to get out of bed. The origami towels on our bed were incredible - very talented to make us 2 swans, a frog and a turtle.

The breakfast was great, selection of breads, croissants or cakes, cereal, rice or noodles, bacon or sausage and eggs cooked as you wanted and on request. There was coffee, juice, milk and water. The staff were very attentive and if you wanted anything you asked and it would be there as soon as they could.

Massage and Spa was also a brilliant experience. Affordable and they always had time to fit you in when it was most convenient for you.

The location is good being a 2 minute walk from the memorial and 15 minutes from the beach. We are very impressed with the hotel and service and will stay again when we return,
Thankyou to all the staff that made our holiday amazing and for all your help whilst I was unwell.

Room Tip: If you don't like stairs request a ground floor room or 1st floor. It's a long way up to the...

First time at this hotel and was surprised. Although located at the end of a laneway off Jalan Legian, no traffic noise could be heard. Occupied a family room in the older complex, with the two rooms being spacious and clean, although some maintenance would not go astray. TV reception was not good, with the newer accomodation having flat screen TV's with excellent reception. The pool, bar, restaurant were all well maintained. Staff were excellent and very friendly. Breakfast was adequate. Well worth the stay.

Room Tip: All room face inwards towards the garden/pool area.
