“Great position, in need of renovation”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 21, 2013

Basic rooms. Breakfast included though standard of food has decreased. Dark rooms so girls take a compact mirror to use on balcony. Would stay again because of price and location. Have stayed here since 2009.

Room Tip: Ask to have room at back of hotel. Less noise

this hotel used to be a very nice family oriented hotel with excellent staff and service . Ive stayed atthis hotel 9 times and brought lots of family friends here to stay. i sorry to say that the owners / managers have let a good basic hotel go very wrong .i just hope they get it right and bring this hotel back to where it was or even better. tony perth w.a.

We stayed here in March 2013. You get what you pay for. The room was basic but clean. The staff here were lovely, very friendly and always there to help. I would def stay again. Was close to restaurants, bars, shops etc.

It's an old hotel, with 24 hr pool bar, that welcomes Footy Trips 2014, so it's NOT flash. Yea the sheets & towels are stained, but they are clean & changed daily. It is rundown, hence the Reno's underway, but it's CHEAP. We lucked a great room at the back 6 steps to the poolbar & 8 steps to the dining room! The beds were comfy, good water pressure & plenty of hot water. The staff are Fabulous, friendly & helpful. The location is perfect. In the heart of everything you need, food, beach, shopping etc. If you just want a cheap, comfortable place to sleep, store clothes & maybe hang out in the pool bar, then this is the place for you. If you want something nice, go elsewhere.

Room Tip: Request a room at the back. The poolbar out there shuts at 10pm so it's much quieter.

I stayed here two years ago, it wasn't crash hot then, but was certainly better than this year.
We booked two double bed rooms, yet somehow ended up with two rooms with two single beds in each.
Tiles were missing off the pool, the pool bar used to have at least two bartenders but you have to ring a bell now to get someone to come.
I did hear however they are pulling the place down or giving it a revamp. Let's hope so, and bring some of its character back.

I stayed here for two nights, when i got home after some drinks on the first night i was pushed into a dark corner and robbed by two locals, they told me if i told anyone they will stab me. I told reception who called security only for the 2 men who robbed me to arrive..yes, robbed by hotel security!! There is also a little gang who hangs around at the hotel entrance and you cant walk in or out without being offered drugs, on my second night after refusing the 100th offer of drugs i was threatened to be stabbed again for refusing.. Wouldnt let my dog stay there!!!!!

We stayed here for one night only before heading over to Lombok to climb Rinjani.
There three of us and we did the three in a room thing and booked on line, $66 for the three of us.
The room was little more than a cell and it was dirty. Like other reviewers of this hotel, I've stayed in budget accom all over Indo and I don't mind a bit of dirt, but if I had booked the room on my own and still had to pay $66, I'd be pretty unhappy. Was it worth $22 for me to stay there? No.
Ok, the breakfast was pretty good and it does have a pool, which was large and clean but if you are passing through, there are much better options in the Kuta area.
I think that if you booked to stay here as a package, it would be much cheaper and you may get a better room. Hotels seem to pick the 'drifters' and stick them in the closest filthy cupboard they can find.
One of the guys I was travelling with said that this was a great place to stay 20 years ago.

Room Tip: If you have to stay here (?) then make sure that you see the rooms first
