“Good Enough”
Reviewed January 1, 2014

Good:
- Good location at the busy spot at Kuta
- Bed is comfortable
- Bed room and toilet are clean
- New hotel

Need some improvement:
- Service need to be improved, staff seems quite inexperience
- The ceiling was really wet and worrying during heavy rain.
- Breakfast is boring, not much varieties, I even skipped breakfast and find food elsewhere.

This place is reasonable and tucked away down Benesari Street offering very good rates for accomodation.

If you decide to stay here make sure you are a little familiar with the neighbourhood and understand that quite often you will be walking through traffic to get anywhere. This is not unusual for Bali, but if you're used to resorts it make surprise you a little.

So what was good about the place;
- the rooms were very clean and ample for most needs
- the pool is clean, not as large as a resort but suits couples nicely
- for the most part the service was excellent with a welcome smile every time you spoke to a staff member
- the price/value equation was very good (much cheaper than a resort)
- easy accessto Kuta and Legian district, grab a cab to Seminyak unless you want to walk 40 minutes down the beach (most direct route)
- security is posted at the hotel 24/7
- they allow you to bring beers and snacks from the local supermarket and consume them on site, try doing this at a resort

And what could be improved upon;
- our taxi booking was messed up when leaving for the airport (we got around it so no real harm done)
- breakfast was not great for our tastes (and resort tastes); suggest that you take a small walk to any number of restaurants offering breakfast in the area for $3-$5 AUS

Any tips;
- vehicle access is a challenge during peak times so make sure you are physically able to get around the smaller streets
- book a poolside room they are worth the extra cost
- organise your own transport as things can get lost in translation
- don't book here if you want to party; its not that kind of scene (thankfully)

We would probably go back to this hotel on our next visit to Bali, despite a few teething problems they are headed in the right direction

Room Tip: make sure you grab a poolside room as space around it could be hotly contested for when the hotel be...

Checked in for 11 nights over Christmas and new year,hotel still very new. We paid the extra to get a poolside room has a real nice view of the pool, there are no table or chairs to sit on if you want to sit outside for a smoke or drink, I thought it was odd they dont sell bintang or anything else the staff were more then happy to go buy for you if you wanted. There is also no room service or lunch or dinner options I thought this was odd however walk out front of the hotel and there are so many places to eat and drink.. Breakfast is the usual eggs, toast and Asian food, no real western options I have asked them to add at least a pancake in their, will see??? I love a good breakfast. Room is serviced everyday, the size isn't real big however has everything you need one down side was no English channels which suxs when it is pouring rain in Bali. This hotel is I think a 3 or 3.5 star we were never really in our room a lot and could walk everywhere, beach was down the alley about a 5-10 mins loads of cafes, bars, restaurants and shops. For the price we paid at peak season was worth it ($70) in lower seasons would be cheaper again will stay here again. Security staff always willing to help and have a chat overall a relaxing stay and a quiet hotel.

Room Tip: Very quiet hotel not any noise from the street, poolside rooms are great for the price

Very good in every department like house keeping, breakfast, friendly staff, helpful reception desk, etc.
Make a point to spend at least a couple of hours hanging around the pool with a couple of bintang beers

Room Tip: Ground floor rooms facing the swimming pool are excellent

The staffs are eager to help, attentive, speaks English, polite, cheerful n courteous. Hotel grounds are clean n room is made up daily. Basic toiletries are provided. Simple, new hotel with so much potential with a very reasonable price. Lovely pool. Quiet. No party freaks (maybe not yet?). Cant comment on the breakfast cuz always woke up late for it. Very near Jln Legian. Not near Kuta/Legian beach. Altho it is still walkable n it only takes ard 10 mins, shorter, if u know the shortcuts on Jln benesari n Poppies lane.

Staffs are able to cater to special requests. I requested for a birthday cake and to charge it to my hotel bill, n they did so ever so kindly. Some hotels wouldnt do it for you, mind you, they would suggest u the nearest bakery store where u can get one! But not the staffs n management of this hotel. WIFI works great n fast. Rooms are an adequate size for couples. Its not big, but it aint squeezy either. Good hot n cold rain shower. Very comfortable bed resulting in good sleeping quality.

Would love to come back here if im coming back as a couple or with family. But if u prefer a young vibe with loud music blasting from speakers frm the balcony or the swimming pool n creating a ruckus all ard, this hotel is not for you. Respect the serenity of this place.

I commend the good people behind the reception desk, the security guard and all staffs that worked hard for guests like me to have a great stay with them in Bali, the beautiful island of Gods. :)

Room Tip: choose the pool access room. its all on the ground floors.
