“Harper Hotel Spa experience”

The hotel looks good, so attractive as we entered. The spa is probably new. We were greeted by two staff. The interiors looked cozy. We were led to the double room. The halogen lighting was very bright thus distracting. As I was on the massage bed waiting for my masseuse, I wished the lights were dim. Even the music was not soothing at all and even stopped in the middle of the massage. And since both of the staff were also the masseuses, no one could go out to play the music again. These little things distract and affect the overall spa experience. Generally, I walked out as if nothing happened- I normally go for deep tissue massage but even as I have been telling my masseuse to knead harder, it was of no use. They need more training. Quite disappointed for my first spa/massage experience in Bali.

We do immediate to have coordination meeting with spa department and take action with training some subject to meet our guest satisfaction. We would grant that it would not happen anymore in the future.

Also, in this opportunity we extend our spa operation hours to 10pm iso 9pm due to most demand coming. Delighted to welcoming you back at Harper Kuta in the future.

our group (20+ person=adult+child) travel between 30Jan - 2 Feb 14
unpleasant incident
first : we arrive at hotel earlier and paid all the room charge immediately but do late check in.
we request connected room (reservation said ok) later on when check in, all the connected room are full.
second: we decide to extent 1 more night and already paid extension charge. at night got inform that the room we already paid for no longer available. ?????
at the end, they manage to give us only 2 rooms.

Loved this hotel- new rooms, friendly staff, air con- can't complain for $45 a night!

Had not been to Bali before and were just staying for one night on the way from Australia to Germany. Checked in late after a flight from Melbourne, were greeted with cold drinks and cool towels. Slept well, didn't hear the music from the clubs at all and were only woken at 3am by an amazing electrical storm which was worth the interruption! Breakfast was fine, always love a place that has someone to cook my eggs fresh and just how I like them.

Lots to do close by the hotel, had a mani, pedi and hour long full body massage for less than $20 at one of the spas on the street as you walk towards the beach.

Harper Kuta made a great impression of Bali on me, will be back again!

Room is nice, spacious, clean, and feel very new, staffs are all very friendly and helpful as well. We got a room that faces the pool and it was nice, didn't hear the loud music from clubs nearby. Breakfast was ok, nothing really exciting but good enough, they vary the breakfast menu slightly everyday. For the price and location, we think it is really good value, just hope that it will keep its standard.

Stayed for 3 nights, was happy with the location and room, bed was too firm for my liking though, also the room faced the clubs so we could hear music till 4am in the morning, but it wasn't too loud.

Wanted to stay in and order room service, the food was overpriced, toddler sized dishes I was not happy at all and had to order fast food takeaway just so we had a decent sized meal for dinner.

This is possibly one of the best hotel I've stayed so far! The beds are very comfortable, the room is clean, the staffs are friendly and the location is good too. It may be located at a party street but you will find only peace and quiet in the hotel. Highly recommended!

was here in late November/early December 2013 and was very satisfied about every aspect of my stay. Clean room, plenty of space, the aircon was ice-cold, the room was cleaned regularly and thoroughly, the breakfast was quite good and full of variety, and the front desk staff were always ready with some helpful advice. The hotel is in a very lively part of town, so be prepared for late night noise. I sleep through anything, so it didn't keep me up. The pool is lovely and the hotel has a spa on site. The room is equipped with a mini fridge, which was quite handy ( we filled it with our own purchases ). I understand this hotel is fairly new, which is evident in the general look of the place. I hope it maintains its look for as long as possible! When I return to Bali I will certainly be staying here again.

Room Tip: if you need quiet in order to sleep, try to get a higher floor, away from the bars and clubs.
