Had a great fun day at waterboom... overall food quality in the park was low and expensive, but the waterpark is great and well maintained

This water park is TripAdvisor's number one activity in Bali and the third best water park in the world. Apparently, less and less tourists to Bali are coming for the culture these days, and judging by the long lines for slides I would say many of them are going to Waterbom. We have been a few times over the years. Each time the cost of entry goes up and so does the cost of anything inside. You can find cheaper tickets online to avoid paying the highest rate on the day at the park. Many visitors also avoid high food and drink prices by having lunch at the shopping center across the street. There are plenty of staff taking photos of you throughout the park and these are available to purchase at $16.00 each. Bring plenty of sun screen as some rides will involve a 40 minute wait. Big crowds, not cheap and high risk of sun burn, but if your into heart pumping and maybe even heart stopping water slides this is one of the best in Asia. Within the park it feels very much of the same quality of any such parks in the west. However, when you are stuck in those long lines you will get plenty of time to look outside the park from the tower slides. We saw lots of motorbikes driving just outside the park dumping/throwing bags of rubbish onto the street and wastelands along side the park. At the top of the slides you are reminded you are very much in Asia and a developing country, but inside the park it's very much a quality operation with imported slides and well trained, friendly staff.

Dear RoboLondonTown,

Thanks for taking the time to come by the park again. We really appreciate it.

From the end of June until mid July is the busiest weeks of the year at the park. We actively manage the number of guests on a daily basis to stay under the maximum capacity we have set to ensure everyone inside can enjoy their day and ensure the safety of all. We still do have times when our most popular slides have queues. We hope you think it was worth the wait.

We are concerned about the general waste management in Bali too and continue to be active in trying to do our part to improve this. Over the last 6 months we have cut the amount of waste going to landfill by nearly half by trying to reduce disposable items where possible, separating and sorting and handling organics on property to turn into compost for our gardens. Its a start but hopefully we can show other businesses you can have an impact on the community and reduce costs at the same time.

Average park but good entertainment for the children. Have about 12 Waterslides and all the queues are rather long and can take up to 40 minutes to do one slide. Prices are fair and not too expensive about $150 AUD for a family of 4. Good selection of food and beverage when you get in. You are not allowed to take in your own food, snacks or drink. They search your bags at entry. The children absolutely loved it and where entertained form the whole day. Get there early as soon as opens at 900am so you can secure a beach chair. The cabanas are all sold out days ahead and I think these need to be advance reserved online a couple of weeks before hand. They are quite cheap at only about $20 AUD for the day for up to 6 people. They have 8 and 12 people cabanas also for a higher fee. They also go around the resort taking photos of you and link all the photos to a wrist band number. Get as many photos as possible and at the end of the day they can all be purchased in soft copy for only about $40 AUD regardless of the amount of photos. If you are going for some time you may want to get a 2 day pass at a discounted price. They also do massages and hair braiding, nails, fish spa trampolining water balloon fights all at extra charges however they are reasonably priced for a water theme park. Opening hours everyday from 900am till 600pm. All very organized and a safe environment with life savers at all sections and security guards scanning and searching all bags on entry. They also have a completely cashless system where Yiu load up your wrist band with cash and just wave your wrist band around to pay for all your food, drinks, snacks, towels, lockers etc. they refund any unused money at the end of the day. Lockers cost $2 to hire and towels coat $1 for the day.

Today we went to waterbom park. Lots of rides at different thrill levels. Even for me who is scared of heights. The food available to purchase is well priced and very tasty. A fun day out that I would recommend to others.

Expensive to get in compared with a lot of Bali activities but good value once you are in. Entry fee includes most rides. Rides aren't too crowded; a great range of thrillers to lazy activities, too. Plenty of helpful staff around. Food and drinks are of a good standard. Hire towels and lockers, load money on your wristband so you are not needing to carry around cash. Towel deposits and unused money is refunded at the end of the day. Arrive early to book a gazebo-they were all gone by 9am.
