“Good quality ingredients, nice atmosphere and outstanding service!”
Reviewed August 14, 2013 via mobile

Me and my boyfriend really fancied some pizza and were looking around the restaurant's.

The smell of the food coming from cafe Romano caught us, so we ventured in.

The atmosphere was lovely, cosy and sophisticated. We got given some bread and olive oil and vinger for free as a little starter. Ordered a pizza to share and it came out swiftly. The pizza was delicious, exactly what we wanted. Still a little peckish we ordered the tomato and basil brochetta. This was so yummy, the balance of garlic and seasoning was spot on, and the size was more than generous!!

In terms of customer service, cafe Romano delivered an excellent standard. Me and my boyfriend really liked the oil and viniger pot and asked the server where we could buy one. She explained they were bought in Denpasar, where she lives. But very kindly offered to buy one for us... and we picked it up today. :D

So pleased with our experience at cafe Romano. Thank you to all the servers

“Cute from far, far from cute”
Reviewed August 10, 2013 via mobile

This cute little cafe/restaurant get our attention, after an hour massage nearby then we decided to grab dinner in this little cafe...

Well, unlike the cuteness of the atmosphere, the service was slow (probably they need more ppl, only 3 ladies serving all the tables), we didnt try the pizzas, but we ordered 2 pastas; aglio olio and alfredo, and two samosas as a starter, surprisingly, after a long waiting with gurgling tummy, two hot pastas came to our table, but, we have no clue where the samosas are..... only few minutes later, the two samosas there, in our table, smokingly hot! Judt one little bite could numb your tongue...well, bites by bites, slowly but sure, we finished the samosa, its not big, but stuffed with chicken, peas and the skin is crusty...its not bad at all...

Too bad, my aglio olio looked pale as it taste... not even garlicky enough, just a little kick from the chilly, but surely need more salt... its really plain as it looked, but quite a portion tho...so, i requested parmesan to give more taste, coz i like parmesan on my pasta, and i thought its essential to have parmesan ready in an italian restaurant... but no, they told me they dont have parmesan, but they have mozarela (of course!) And offered me grated mozarela for my aglio olio... hmmm, no thank you... :D

Anyway, theres a big blackboard as part of the interior, big owl logo of trip advisor on it and "Please rate us on trip advisor" .... so, i did it! :)

“Delicious food and place..Cheap”
Reviewed July 31, 2013 via mobile

I think this is the only restaurant in Bali to use water bottle for cooking..
Penso sia l unico ristorante in bali ad usare l acqua delle bottiglie per cucinare...
Is all handmade, bread, pizza, pasta..oooooooo lovely
Tutto fatto a mano, pane pizza pasta
When i have been to bali i thought NO italian food! But after 5 day something happen and i was really sick 'cause I drank and ate everywhere without worrying about whether or not the drinking water was..after which i could only eat in this place without any problem..
It s cheap..è economico

“Best pizza”

I liked this place a lot. They were busy, but they still gave good and friendly service. The pizza was very good, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the owner seems very keen on making his restaurant succeed. Good luck
