Spent two nights in the villa room with my fiancee. Hotel picked us up in the airport, followed by a 10 minutes ride to the hotel. Located at a small side road off a busy main road, the hotel offers quietness. Check in was smooth, and the crew was very polite but my luggage was forgotten in the hotel lobby:(
The small plunge pool and the outdoor rain shower is nice, along the deckchair. Each villa has its own tree to provide privacy to guest who are living on higher blocks beside the villas.
Housekeeping does a good job, and the pillows are excellent for a good night sleep.
The crew was helpful and polite throughout our stay.
Breakfast is decent although they are repeated every day. The laowa chinese restaurant just opposite the side road entrance serve tasty porridge and cantonese style food.
Travelling to other parts of Kuta or Seminyak is easy through the meter taxis. Be prepare for traffic jam in the busy main road at certain times of the day.
Overall, I will return again to this hotel for short stay in Kuta.

Room Tip: Go for the villa room for the outdoor shower and plunge pool.

Decent clean and staff is helpful. Not too fancy about the breakfast. Room has a plunge pool which is nice on a hot day. Need to have vehicle to go around as it is not located near happening place. Taxi cost is high, rent a vehicle and do bring your garmin, street is very busy most of the time. Planing to go back next year for other interesting location, the highlands and northern part..

If you're on a budget and want to be close (but not literally on the main streets of the kuta attractions/shopping) it's a good place to stay - about a $.50 - $1.70 AUD taxi ride to the mains streets of kuta.

The road the hotel is on, Nyang Nyang Sari which is off Raya Tuban/Raya kuta, is quite smelly, disgusting and can be quite dangerous at night with car/scooters darting past you. Raya Tuban road is even dirtier and dangerous (heaps of huge holes in the footpath). The hotel is located where all the locals' food stalls and small shops are - not where the actual main tourist kuta shopping etc is.

Airport transfer - they picked us up from the airport on arrival to bali for free but you have to pay if you want a ride back to the airport when departing Bali. Think that was a bit ridiculous. We took a taxi to the airport instead of the hotel's car (more expensive).

Room - clean and decent, but relatively small. The bathroom was also clean but on occasion this disgusting sewage smell kept rising from bathroom. The bar fridge is far from cold and won't keep your beers/drinks cold if you intend to have any.

service and staff - staff were all very friendly and always willing to help. Slight communication problems sometimes as not all of them speak English well. The front desk attended to any problems/issues we had promptly.

Room service - really dissatisfied. The beef burger was raw in the middle, and they got our order wrong after repeating it twice - gave us two smoothies instead of one. The smoothie was actually disgusting - made with unripe bananas, sour and overpriced ($5 AUD).

Breakfast - had a variety of both western and Indonesian breakfast. The pasteries was good. Would rate the taste/quality about 6.5/10

Overall experience I'd give about a 6.5/10.

the hotel even after confirming never came to pick us up. aircon in the room got switched off at 3AM, after complaint they checked for 2 hours but never succeded. we got the new room at 11.30 next morning. manager said AC is working in our room when we came back from BF but it was the same. finally we got the new room. to compensate manager told me tonight dinner is on me, i appreciated the same but my kids at first than we put them to bed and than ordered ours for which he charged us. when asked he said it was only half dinner on us, i told him you can keep half dinner to yourself. than he said i will give you free transfer to the next hotel in bali, while chk out he was again not available and no msg for free transport left so i paid again. only good part about the hotel was the rooms have plunge pool which is pretty good. will not recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: with kids you must stay novotel nusa dua...it rocks

I arrived at the horrible time of 2am and was collected by arrangement by the Hotel shuttle. I was greeted with a smiling face and a refreshing drink. They upgraded me from the Deluxe to the villa and although small, it was very neat and the best part, it had it's own plunge pool. The hotel is off the main road so you mostly don't hear the traffic, except for some of the motorbikes taking a short cut through the side street. Breakfast every morning (included) was a buffet with a good variety of Indonesian and American style breakfast, with an egg and noodle bar also, so you could order eggs any style and bacon if you prefer.
The staff were always friendly and attentive. Whilst not in the heart of Kuta (I was glad to be away from the hussle), it was pretty close with a $2 taxi ride or the free hotel shuttle at 10am. I made the mistake of thinking I could walk to the Discovery shopping mall, but after approx an hour, I was still not there so grabbed a cab. Overall I had a great stay.

Room Tip: If you are in the villas ask for a back one away from the pool if you like it to be quiet. The pool...

We booked BW Kuta Villa at relatively short notice through booking.com and paid approximately AUD100 per night for 7 nights. We had a private villa with our own courtyard and plunge pool.
The room was small, but the bed big and comfortable. The bathroom had a bath however we used the outdoor shower every day. Good water pressure and temperature. The plunge pool is exactly that, nice for a dip and to sit in but not big enough for a swim. The aircon was reliable and not too loud.

The only critiscims we had were: the bar 'fridge' was actually more like a wine cabinet and didn't chill the drinks - we had to ask for an ice bucket whenever we wanted to make our own cold drinks; the coffee/creamer wasn't refilled when the room was made up; the breakfast and meals at the restaurant were average, we preferred to eat out.

We're laid back travellers and the above didn't dampen our experience of the BW Kuta Villa. The staff were very attentive, polite and professional. We requested airport transfers and were granted them free of charge, despite their being a usual fee.

The BW Kuta Villa is probably on the border of Tuban and I noticed it was a more muslim area than the rest of Bali. Despite mixed reviews about the location, we didn't mind not being in central Kuta. There is a daily shuttle into central Kuta every morning at 10am, however we walked into Kuta and back several times and it took 15 minutes each way. Taxis are only AUD2-3 dollars if you don't feel like walking. Again, this wasn't a big deal for us - we weren't expecting it to be any different after doing our research before booking. Do keep in mind that some taxis will get confused with the BW Resort, an different hotel closer to Kuta.

I had a spa package treatment in the in-house spa which was soothing, relaxing and great value at 'buy-one, get one free' - AUD$30 for a massage, facial, body scrub lasting over 2.5 hours.

While Kuta is not my preferred area to stay in Bali, we were very pleased we chose the BW Kuta Villa and would recommend it to anyone looking for a reasonably priced, comfortable stay.
