We dined here 3 times on our recent trip as a result of the excellent reviews here. First of all the food was excellent...my wife is vegetarian..no problem. The menu is varied and definitely geared to western tourists. The chef, Aris, is a very personable chap who has had a lot of experience cooking in restaurants in Australia and his certificates of training are on display. The kitchen area is scrupulously clean and the food is fresh and delicious, as are the range of fresh juices. I recommend the nachos and the fish and my wife just loved the fresh baguettes..(so unlike the usual sweetish Bali bread),,and the hand cut chips with a delicious gravy were a winner.
It's not fine dining..more café style..but it's worth hunting down this gem of a place...it's in a long street roughly parallel to Legian street heading away from the beach...not many tourists around in this area but we never felt unsafe...in fact it was interesting watching the locals go about their daily lives from the tables out the front.
We recommend hunting down this little gem of a place...good food and so so cheap.
