My mom loves the design of their room. The bathroom is lo large and has good design. Even, they have TV on their bathroom. We booked 3 rooms, I don't know the condition of the rest of 2 rooms, but I got problem in my bathroom. My bath tub's drain was leak so water in the bath tub can not be full. The good is their technician responded quickly, they repaired our bath tub. When we arrived the channel's TV impaired, but because we already tired and wanna sleep, so we don't care about it. And in the morning the channels back to normal. The room is clean. Breakfast is good and has many variation. The pool is beautiful.

I had a pleasant stay at grand mega bali. My family n i reached d hotel about 9pm n when we were checking in, there were some problem with our booking. Apprently our 2 rooms booked for 4days wasnt in d system. While waiting,we were given chilled welcome drinks n cool towel. But it was resolve in about 30minutes.
We were dissapointed because both of d rooms were far away from each other. We had kids who couldnt just freely walk by themselves to find their grandparents' which were at d farthest corner room from ours.

Rooms design was modern n nice. Bed was comfortable n had small hug pillows. a sliding glass door seperates d bathroom/ toilet from d room. Bathroom/ toilet was as big as d room n was very nice but downsides were, there wasnt place to put toiletries on d sink n d toilet n shower n tub were all seperated with transparent glass. (Not much of privacy if ur not staying with lover/partner)

Ala carte food was nice. We had our first night's dinner in the hotel's restaurant. All 7of us enjoyed the food. The morning breakfast a little dissapointing for me as the bacon was beef.i was expecting it to be pork. The spread was alright. Not that many varieties compared to some other hotels that ive been to.

The tap water from d hotel tasted very salty. We made coffee n tea in d room but ended up not drinking because it tasted weird. We ended up drinking only mineral water during out stay in bali. Luckily a convenient store is opposite the hotel, but the road is extremely busy n hard to get across

Very good hotel, friendly people, good food, nice swimming pool. We enjoy our stay. The location was good, to go to all the beautiful places in Bali. The drivers at the hotel were friendly. We definitely to come back to this hotel!

Location is far from the beaches, the bathroom is impressive but the water heater doesn't have hot water!!I've no idea why bathroom basin doesn't come with cabinet? It's so inconvenience to put the necessarily things such as toothpaste ,toothbrush and facial products.Lastly.the lights is not bright enough.

You need to get a taxi to get anywhere from The Grand Mega. A taxi to Kuta was $4 and there are NO restaurants nearby. If you are prepared to taxi EVERYwhere, the rooms are clean but you can tell they cheap out in certain areas. The restaurant at hotel served very small portions of food for higher than average prices and the breakfast was very average.
The pool is small and Happy Hour is only 30% off drinks.
Staff were friendly.
We were offered a free upgrade on request.
Our friends room had a terrible smell and they requested a room change. Blood found on pillow linen -AH!
Shower floods.
Stay in Seminyak or Legian or if you want to stay close to Kuta - The Grand Mega is not closely located.
The taxi drivers at the front of the hotel are very rude - not sure if they are apart of the hotel...?
Nothing about the hotel was terrible, however overall we would not stay here again.

Room Tip: Rooms facing pool - you will hear pool bar music

The hotel is along the highway so it was an adventure to cross the street to get to the Hypermarket. The room was spacious though the bathroom layout wasn't the most practical one. There's a convenience store beside the hotel. Always have the hotel address on-hand since most taxi drivers aren't familiar with the hotel name.

Taxi prices:
Airport taxi to Grand Mega - 90,000 idr
Grand Mega to Airport - 45,000 idr
Grand Mega to Kuta Square, Kuta Beach and Discovery Mall - 35,000 to 40,000 idr depending on traffic.
Grand Mega tour car for the day - 800,000 idr (pay at the hotel reception)

Always opt for the Bali taxi or Blue Bird taxi since those are the ones who actually uses their meter gauge.

i would like to just start off by saying that the staff at this hotel were so very pleasant and helpful and just really made out stay great. the hotel is lovely, the rooms look bigger in the pictures than what they are in real life, the food was very nice and there was a great selection at breakfast time. the pool was great and was treated every second night. the overall design of the hotel was amazing and really liked the used of colors and different materials. now a few down points. the hardest part for me one when you walk out of the hotel your basically directly on the highway so to cross to the 24hour market was a challenge and a half.. security was great though. it did take a bit for us to get into kuta everyday 5-10min in good traffic up too 40mins in bad traffic. the beds were a bit hard for my liking but overall still great and even tho we had our room changed a few times it still looked like the same sheets had been left on there.
