Niether "Mega" nor "Grand" this hotel clearly bites off more than it can chew.
The rooms are small and look like the interior of a dollhouse - somewhat cartoonish. The bathtub is tiny, I can already see the news story of some big-assed Aussie stuck in there until the firge brigade rescues him.
Very firm beds in the room. One window looks out onto the pool in the "deluxe", but it's floor to ceiling on the first level so people can see just as much of you. It doesn't open, and the air feels stagnent. It's small in there, and for me, it was claustraphobic.
It's not anywhere you want to be, you cant' walk because there's no sidewalks to speak of and crossing the street is extremely hazardous to your health!
No entertainment, and the pool area isn't much of a scene even though the photos make it look very inviting it's more of a photo op.
The "business center"? A single laptop that sits in the corner of the lobby.
There's no reason to hang out in the hotel so the price doesn't justify a hotel where you don't want to be or a neighborhood you want to be in. Why bother? There's much better choices out there, it would really seem a waste of a vacation.
