We stayed at the Bali Rani at the start of October for a week and really enjoyed our stay there. The location is perfect....just across the road from the Discovery Mall and the beach and far enough out of the centre of Kuta for some peace and quiet, but close enough to walk in for the evening. The rooms were fairly small and basic but pleasant and clean. The staff are the best bit about this hotel.....we loved the fact that every time we walked past the reception they would greet us by name and have a chat with us. Other people at the hotel were saying that they'd stayed there several times, having previously stayed in other hotels in Kuta which were nowhere near as nice. The sunsets in Bali were a highlight for us....they really are spectacular. Just across the road, through the mall, you can reach a lovely part of the beach which gets really busy at sunset with both locals and tourists. Well worth a visit! I'll definitely stay at this hotel again if I return to Bali (which I'd absolutely love to!!!)

we stay here everytime we come to bali and i cant fault the place.

Its small which is perfect for relaxing and quiet.
the food is always amazing - especially laying by the pool with Mi Gorang.

the cocktails are lovely
the day spa is lovely

I know hotels always come down to personal taste but i just dont see how you could fault this place at all.

the staff are lovely the day spa is amazing and such a good price - for 2 hours is $20

amazing.. and will be back in March :)

This hotel close to the airport also the shoping mall
everything you can find in this area, and close every where. Staff is friendly, Room is very good and clean. Room near the pool and ground floor is good for the family. Restaurant have good food quality, and with reasonable price. You have to get up earlier if you want to get pool chair because has blocked by other guest. This hotel is good for your family and individual traveler.
I am sure i will come back again on next of our holiday.

Very small 55 room hotel. However this made it a very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Had to be the best pool area we have experienced in Bali before and as a result we spent most of our time around and in the pool. The pool temperature was perfect (our last hotel was so big it shaded the pool and it was always too cold to swim). Service around the pool was great and you could easily get a drink or nibbles straight away. It is so convenient to everywhere. Its directly across from Discovery Centre, has a Kodak store right next door which made changing money easy an two supermarkets within a minute that meant you could pick up any supplies with ease. It was also a five minute trip to my favourite spa, Febris. The rooms are basic but clean. You have the typical aspects of age (grout cracking etc) you normally see in bathrooms but it was clean daily. We did have some troubles with the air con (we tend to keep it on constantly) but the service staff came immediately to repair it and then came back an hour later to ensure it was working. When cleaning staff noticed the next day it was leaking, they came back and fixed it without us being even aware of it. Bed big and comfy! My only warning is the breakfast is really basic compared to other hotels. But this is not a big issue for us. The omelette station at 9am however was always empty so my partner never had to line up which is highly unusual with the high star hotels!! THis will be our first cho

Room Tip: 115 was convenient to pool and lobby but be aware if you are a light sleeper or late sleeper you can get some disturbance from those on the way to breakfast
