Lovely hotel on the edge of Tuban and Kuta. Close to waterbom park, 5 min stroll to the beach and central shopping. Do find this end of town slightly more expensive than Legian/Seminyak to eat. Staff are fantastic, very helpful and friendly. Rooms are pretty standard and bathrooms are starting to look a bit tired, but beds are very comfortable and TV with DVD player is great for the kids to watch. The 2 pools are lovely, but they need to bring in the rule, if you are not there, you cannot " save" your deck chair by putting a towel on it. Some had 2 towels on them and for the 4 days we were there, we never got a towel. They always ran out by lunchtime. We always go out in the morning when it is cooler. So to have to get your bath towel to dry off after a swim isn't great. Other than that all was good. Our room looked out onto the street, right next to the lounge area where the band plays at night. The room was remarkably quiet. We had no problems sleeping. Facing west meant for a very hot balcony.

Room Tip: Rooms on the road side get full sun in the afternoon, making it impossible to sit on the balcony. Some people may be bothered by street noise, but doubled doors to the balcony shut out most of it out.

Hotel is located in Kuta shopping district.Walking distance to Hard Rock Cafe, Matahari & Discovery shopping centre. You can find small stalls selling souvenirs, clothing and all touristy thing opposite breakfast area, just across the road.Bargaining is compulsory as price is pretty high.Very strategic location.Rooms are cosy although not very huge in size.Breakfast spread is good with selection of American breakfast & local delight. There's a counter where you can order eggs of your liking. Eating area is open space with staff serving coffee & tea & clear plates promptly. Pool area is very relaxing & sports bar is pretty crowded during weekends. Spa rooms are well equipped & well designed. However, there's only 3 female & 1 male staff which is insufficient.Tried the in house guest special price, 1st pax @ RPH165,000 & subsequent 2nd & 3rd pax @ RPH150,000 for 1hr full body massage.Massage finishes in about 45 mins.Masseur was rushing through the whole process.Would suggest massage outside hotel which is aplenty.Down side is there's lots of mosquitoes around the hotel which is pretty annoying at times.Suggest to bring insect spray if staying over.Overall, it's a nice place for all in the family.

Room Tip: Would suggest to light sleeper to book hotel rooms which is not facing main road as it gets pretty noise with loud music at night.

The location is the highlight here - its bang at the edge of Kuta and very close to all that is worth seeing there. The rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. Slightly overpriced by Bali standards, but they charge for the location mainly. Pool is just about OK. And despite the proximity on the map - its not near the beach. You'll need a good 10 mins walk to get to that.

Food wasnt great - walk around to find much better places. Also, if you want to keep going to Seminyak (most culinary gems in Bali are there) then this is a little too far - find other resorts in Legian.

Overall a great experience if you are choosing it for the right reasons.

Rgds,

For the price we got on Agoda this hotel was amazing. We stayed in the club resort room and the passage to the room is beautiful like a beautiful garden path but indoors, the rooms are a nice size for 2 but felt more spacious because of the high pitched balinese ceiling, the balcony with the deep comfy lounge is lovely, the beds were so soft and comfy and the pillows were lovely, bed and bathroom linen all clean, crisp and white. We loved the bathroom surprise (spoiler alert!) there are 3 wardrobe doors, but the middle one is the door to the bathroom and it opens into a huge beautiful bathroom with separate shower, toilet - with a glass door, not sure I understand this! Lovely basin and stand with toiletries, and separate bathtub with a flat screen tv above it.
Tv and DVD in the bedroom, didn't watch so can't comment on channels!
We got invited to cocktails one afternoon and the food was lovely and cocktails simple choice of one but was a berry mojito which I like so was happy with this.
We ran out of time to swim as we got tattoo's first morning and left at 6am the next day, but what we saw and experienced we loved the hotel and would deffinatey stay again
