We have just returned from a 7 night stay at Hard Rock and I have to say that we were very impressed. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The balcony however is very small but that was not a big problem as we preferred to be in the comfort of the airconditioning. The hotel staff were lovely and extremely helpful.nothing was too much effort for them. The pools were amazing and certainly a kids paradise.Activities in and around the pool were happening every afternoon with the great pool staff that really go out of there way to get to know the kids as well as the adults. We spent every afternoon by the pool so the kids could join in the entertainment as did we.Then at 4pm they have mini Olympics for the kids which was loads of fun also. The food was decent and breakfast was amazing. So much to choose from. I definately recommend this hotel to anybody with children. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will definately be back next year.Thankyou Hard Rock!!

We enjoyed the stay, the hotel staff were nice. The hotel itself was big and at a convenient location.Hotel room was ok, not as exciting as the one in Penang but the pool was fantastic. The kids loved it. We thought it would be noisy but the rooms were quiet. The only thing we didn't like was that the water in the room (sink and shower) was a bit salty.

It was our first time staying at the hard rock and we loved it
our kids stayed at home but the kids are keeps busy with lots of games around the pool
but if you just want to chillout the pool is massive lots of shaded areas to hide away
the staff are great drinks and food prices are avarage for a big hotel
we try and get to bali 2 times a your and will be going back to hard rock

Room Tip: premium deluxe room there have a chill out pool and spa no music playing just nice and quite

stayed 3 nights in beginning of November'12, nice, but in my opinion overpriced , it's a bit tired, smells of mold ( high humidity ), we had to change room to higher level as ground floor with pool access was way too smelly, but even on 3d level room was smelly.
pool-breakfast-service were good
just a note, they don't have direct beach access, it's across a road and public beach only

Room Tip: higher level and must look away from busy main road

Hard Rock Hotel is in a very good location right in front of the beach and close to shops. Although Kuta beach is nothing special and the traffic around here is pretty bad. It is one of the better hotels at Kuta.

I had a standard room but it was big and comfortable (King Bed plus long sofa).

The food and drink is a bit expensive depending on what you want. The breakfast got a bit boring after the first 2 days. The coffee shop and room service are both pretty good. There are a few ok restaurants nearby but you need to go to Seminyak for better choices. There are plenty of places to get cheap beer outside the hotel.

There are lots of different types of shops here from the official brands to the rough and tumble market type stalls. You just have to be a bit careful of all the hustlers on the street.

The main target market is young families. They play 80's & 90's music for the parents and have a lot of facilities for children.

The internet is not free ($21 for 8 hours) and the hotel layout is quite confusing but they do have a nice pool area and the staff are pretty friendly and relaxed.

Room Tip: If you want to go to bed early then ask for a room away from the main bar as they have live bands (7...

The hotel is good, clean, and The price is great, the staffs are friendly too.
It is located close to traditional market, close to the beach, and shopping area.
One of the best pool in Kuta, where you can listen to music inside or outside the water.

My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel and it is really great!
We stayed at the Deluxe premium suite and had access to a private pool which was great if you like to swim after hours or if you just want to get away from the crowds.
The water temperature in the pool was just right, the courtesy and friendliness of the staff is top notch and the breakfast had a good variety and was tasty!

The hotel was probably the favourite part of our stay. Just wished that hotel had more traditional Indonesian dishes in their menu.

But other than that, a great place to stay!
