We arrived at the hotel after midnight, but checked in is very smoothly. The hotel very near the airport, conveniently located on a main road and carrefour super market . The rooms is tidy and clean and the bed was huge and very comfortable. The rooms provide all the amenities you would expect from a more expensive hotel; complimentary toiletaries, comprehensive sattelite TV, room service, spa service, mini bar. Maybe we added a extra bed,so felt the room a little bit small.

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and nothing is too much effort. I want to praise a reception whose name is Soma,he really helped me a lot.we just stayed there one night, but 6 days later, the last night we left Bali,as our flight was at 6 am,even we didn't check in the hotel again,he still helped me to keep my the luggage in the hotel and let us to spend our last hours pleasant in Bali.i am really very touched by his friendly attitude .Definitely we will choose this hotel again when we go to Bali next time.

We arrived, a couple of very weary travellers, after 3 months travelling through Australia and New Zealand, so looking forward to 3 days of welcome rest before heading back home to the uk and the wind and rain and madness of Christmas. And we were not disappointed! From the minute we arrived, we were met with kindness. All of the staff from front of house, to everyone else, were kind and helpful, and just couldn't do enough to make our stay as pleasant as possible.

We stayed on the 2nd floor at the back of the hotel and had lovely greenery views. The room was very spacious with loads of space to unpack our cases, a gorgeous waterfall shower, and probably one of the comfiest beds I've ever slept in (and believe me I usually can only sleep in my own bed!)

Of course there is the usual toiletries etc which are replaced daily, along with complimentary toothbrush, combs and other bits and pieces. Complimentary bottled water was supplied every day - very welcome!

I also required a hair dryer and adapters for my laptop and phone, and these were supplied readily by the housekeeping staff.

The hotel is located on a very busy street, just outside of Kuta itself, but the hotel run a free shuttle bus several times a day and it's only about a 10-15 min journey. If you fancy walking the security staff are very good at stopping the traffic to get you across the road, and believe me you need the help! Despite the traffic, we were amazed at how quiet inside the hotel was. Note to any travellers, make sure when you get a taxi you get bluebird taxis. These are metered. Other taxis will charge you double and more!

Breakfast was different, but not in a bad way. Of course the usual cereals, fruit, yoghurts etc, but I always opted for the local dishes as much as I could, when in Rome after all........

We chose to take advantage of the spa and had a wonderful hour long full body massage each, then tagged on the free 15 minute foot massage at the end. Wonderful!

I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, it's location, it's staff and it's amenities. I would happily stay there again.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back of the hotel have better views and are quiet

It's hard to say enough good about this hotel...Our stay was fantastic for so many reasons...

#1 - Amazing Value - We paid about US$ 35 a night for something you'd easily pay $150 in a major city.

#2 - Great quality - Comfy bed; modern, clean rooms; rain-head showers, lots of bathroom amenities; bottled water in glass bottles; solid mini-bar and room service; nice breakfast buffet; beautiful pool

#3 - Fantastic Service - The staff is so friendly from the reception to security to housekeeping to the guys outside. Always smiling and chatting. Very helpful with recommendations.

#4 - The Location - Close to Kuta beach, but far enough away that you can escape Kuta's busyness. All the taxis know the hotel.

I would recommend this place without any hesitations whatsoever. Terima kasih, 100 Sunset 2!

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in October 2013. We had just planned a quick trip to Bali and this hotel was perfectly suited to our needs. The hotel is easily accessible from the airport, conveniently located on a main road with little traffic. The rooms are spacious and clean (we stayed in room 535) and the bed was huge and very comfortable. Despite being on a main road there was no noise as we were on the other side of the hotel. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and nothing is too much effort. The rooms provide all the amenities you would expect from a more expensive hotel; complimentary toiletaries, comprehensive sattelite TV, room service, spa service, mini bar. This hotel provides excellent value for money for those on a budget or for a short stay. I would not stay here for any longer than a few nights, for this I would prefer a larger hotel with a resort style feel closer to the beach. The breakfast is average and geared more towards an Asian clientele. All in all an excellent hotel for the price.

Stayed for 2nights in kuta area and overall it was great. It's just that the room is quite small with 1 extra bed in twin room. Very humble staff who ready to accommodate our needs as we requested hairdryer , bath towels from them. There's no sound proof on the rooms wall as we can hear people slammed the door or talking outside at nights from our rooms. Good breakfast buffet and I really loved their homemade papaya jam. Delicious.

Staying here for 2 nights during the busy APEC period in Bali.
Staff is generally friendly, you will expect to be greeted each time you arrive in the lobby.
Room is decent, equipped in a standard of 4-stars hotel. I stayed in a Premiere room witha balcony and bath tub. Lots of space and fitted with what you expect from an Aston-managed hotel.
Breakfast is just for a non-resort type of hotel. You still get selection of traditional and continental menu and still an egg station to serve of your choice.
Few problems during my stay:
1. Repeated lost of TV connection but this was probably due to the APEC conference and not entirely thw hotel's fault.
2. Delay delivery of laundry with no obvious reasons. Having asked several times through housekeeping but only sorted after I came to the reception and waited there until it resolved.

Location wise, this hotel is very strategic if you ned frequently go to Nusa Dua, Sanur or Kuta. Supermarkets are in walking distance, a good spa even closer less than 5 mins away.
