Costing around $23 for adults and $15 for kids, it offers a cheaper alternative to Waterbom but without the high speed thrill rides.

Great Pools to relax on a warm day and pretty quiet when we were there so no queues.

If you're looking for thrills, go to Waterbom, if you want a cheap fun filled day for the family, come here!

We went to circus waterpark as we heard it was good for small kids. We went on a Sunday and were one of the first to arrive. At first it was quiet and then got busier and we and everyone else noticed we were one of only 2 family of westerners, this is where the locals go. It's a small waterpark and can not be compared at all to waterbom park, waterbom is on a whole different level. Yes it is more expensive but we got a cheaper deal on tickets through our villa and is was great value. The standards, cleanliness, ammenities and staff were all of a very high standard and it was a great day out!

We took our 4.5 year old and 3 year old here on Saturday as a fun last activity in Bali. I had read many reviews, taking the good with the bad, really hoping that the people writing the bad comments were just being picky. I hate to say, but they were not.

It cost us approximately $50AUD to enter, paying for just 2 adults as we wanted to take advantage of a promotion we had spotted on their website - pay 2 adults and 2 children are free. You had to email ahead though, which we did. When we arrived they did not have our email, the lady spent a long time on the phone trying to sort out the missing email. It took 20 minutes to get a ticket; then we were told we needed to pay $10AUD as deposit for a locker and to buy things inside so we waited some more. Finally, we get in . . .

We were expecting the park to be a little older and not so perfect and we were OK with that. There was often not enough water for the slide to carry the rider to the bottom. I watched one Mum waiting for her very small child at the bottom of a slide, I could see she was worried. Turns out the child had got stuck up the slide as there was not enough water to bring her down! My 3 year old rode on my lap several times, my legs threatening to stick to the slide because of the lack of water. I would go so far as to say some of the small slides are dangerous for young children due to the pitch of the slide and lack of water. The water is murky with a slight green tinge to it, we couldn't help but feel a little uneasy about the water quality.

There is a Park Photographer that wanders around, taking photos of your visit in order for you to purchase them on departure. I would not have had a problem with this except for the fact that the park was quite busy and he would not leave me and my kids alone. It made me feel very uncomfortable and we made effort to evade him but he kept following. My husband and I were quite upset about it; when I decided I had had enough of the pervert, er, I mean photographer, I got out of the water and covered my whole body with a sarong, leaving my husband and sons to play. He then moved along and took photos of other people, ironic, hey? . . .

Our boys were not tall enough to enter the lazy river and the bigger slides even with us accompanying them. We were disappointed as this does not seem to be mentioned anywhere on their website or at the ticket counter. We wouldn't have been so keen to take our young children if we knew they couldn't enjoy the whole park as we can visit a splash park in our own town.

We also saw a couple of small childen urinate in the water and then young babies in the water with no nappies, no one seems to bat an eyelid. That was the last straw for us. We bribed our kids out of the water with iceream . . . from a shop outside the park.

Dear Teegs82. We would say thank you for your visiting to Circus Waterpark Bali on November 2016. We do apologize for any inconvenience while playing in Circus Waterpark Bali. As your kind information, our slide in kids pool are divided into two. The first one is slides for kids age 5-11 with the average speed for kids and quite fast. The other one is slides for kids age 1-4 with minimum speed and special for kids who scared to play fast slides. That is why we decrease the water’s speed. Your review about the lazy river and detail facilities become a kind reference for us to improve our Waterpark better than before. We also do apologize behalf Photographer in Circus Waterpark Bali if made you and your family felt uncomfortable. Once again, we do apologize and thank you for your visiting and review about Circus Waterpark Bali.

We took our 4 yo son here as it looked to be far more suitable for his age than waterbom.

As far as the actual slides and playground go it was pretty good my son had a great time playing on them, and there was good variety.

However you need to use a "smart card" to pay for everything within the park(a tag that you load credit onto) which seemed completely pointless to me. To hire a locker you need a coin(special park coin) every time you open it(so if you go back to it a couple of times you must buy another coin).

To buy food(and you're not allowed to take anything in) you need to choose what you want and they person at the counter writes up a docket(and half of the menu they don't have...) you then take the docket to a cashier across the dining area, who then processes it, you pay, get another docket and go back to the original counter to wait about half an hour to collect your order, this is seriously pointless, time consuming and just annoying.

When you're done for the day you leave and refund whatever you didn't use on your "smart card", more lining up for no real reason.

The whole smart card system just doesn't make any sense, cash or eftpos through the park would be quicker and easier.
