Touching memorial for a tragic event. Great to see it is used for a meeting place for many Aussies in Bali

This is beautiful and such a great memorial but I find it totally disrepectful and disgusting with tourists taking "happy snaps" and smiling, thumbs up, peace signs etc like it a joke or a trip to disney land. people were killed in an act of terrorism.

worth seeing though, paying respects and remember what we lost

We arrived at the memorial purely to remember all the lives that were lost. I was a little taken back when I saw crowds of people standing in front of the memorial taking photos & smiling away as though they were taking a photo in front of a 'tourist attraction'. It was a little odd to say the least. Whatever the choice people make as to the reason why they visit the memorial is their own but people it is a remembrance not a place to stand in front and take photos of yourself smiling away as though it means nothing .

Rest In Peace to all that were taken and their families.
