I heard a lot about this place just before i come here, a monument for the deceased victims in 2002 Bali bombing.
The monument engraved with the victims' name and total life lost is 202. Heartfelt moment and can imagine how horrible is the disaster! A lot of tourist take the opportunity to take a few photos for remembrance. I took a few shots and mourn for the death with a minute of silent. Hope they rest in peace
This place locate at the center of Kuta whereby it is very crowded with nearby clubs and pubs as well as shops, hotels and massage parlour.
I was there during new year eve 2013, it was overly crowded especially during the night time. A place worth visit and pay respect to the deceased

While a very sombre place to visit as an Aussie it was a place I just had to visit to pay my respects to victims of the bombings.

This is a must. Very simple and very moving. A bit unfortunate that as we were leaving we were asked to fill in a survey about bali and their tourism. But you must visit this place to always remember.

I never visit Bali without paying my respects to those who lost their lives in this tragedy. We must remember them, a mixed group of people having a great time that ended so horrifically. May they all rest in peace.

A little bit spooky, as though you can feel the spirits of those lost. Absolutely must see - in particular the refection pool is a lovely touch.
