Take the time to see this memorial, very moving even if you don't know anyone who lost their life there!

“Such a sad place”
Reviewed November 12, 2012

The Memorial is maintained with the respect the site is due, the Balinese keep this shrine clean and tidy. Pay your respects to those who lost their lives so horribly and say a prayer.

“Valuable reminder”
Reviewed November 7, 2012

The well placed and constructed monument is a very important emotional reminder to the first time visitor and the regular Bali holidaymaker alike. Terrible, life changing events can happen at the most unlikely places and times.

I hope every person that walks past, or visits this poignant memorial, remembers not only the international visitors killed or maimed enjoying this amazing country on that horrific night, but the vast amount of Balinese killed and injured on their own soil going about their day to day lives.
