Our driver dropped us as this restaurant.
While we do understand this is a tourist area and I am expective "tourist prices", this place is definitely NOT worth it.
The setting is great, with tables out on the beach.
First no no: We sit down, order drinks (at relatively expensive price for Indonesia), and we are advised that have to order our meals inside ourselves. So not only we pay premium prices, but you do have to do the work.
There is no "menu" per se. You arrive at the counter of "fresh seafood", point at what you'd like to eat, the non-smiling lady throws the fish, squid or prawn on the scale for about half a second and "quotes" the weight. This is very questionnable. At theses price level (i.e. 20$/kilo for red snapper or 40$/kilo for King prawns, or 80$/kilo for lobster), I expect service, advice, and patience from the service staff, none of which you do get.
Now I understand the driver may have gotten a commission to bring us here, which is fine, but the food is expensive and tasteless and overcooked.

Enough said. I think you get my point!

Our driver bring us to this cafe.
At the entry the staff welcome u and bring u to a table on the beach.
After that u can choose the seafood.
All the items are overpriced!
1kg Fish 180'000, 1kg Medium size shrimo 250'000.
The cooking skills are not really the best there.
There is free Rice (quiet small size), free Fruit Salat (consist of 3 small pcs of watermelon and honeymelon) and free Kangkung (which is also quiet small).
At the end at the cassier, they try to cheated us.
They just add 100g-200g on every item you bought.
We told them that the weight on the receipt was wrong, but they didnt care and forced us to pay.
Better take a picture of the scale when u order, otherwise they will cheat u.

The only redeeming quality of this place is the beach and candlelight dinner. Other than that, the food sucks and expensive.(IDR 600k for a set for two). Service is virtually non existent there.
When we are eating, we are approached by a band of "musicians" that sang beside our table. After they are done, one of them put their hand out and expected us to tip them. I gave them IDR30000, and guess what, one of them look at the note, and gave us a "Hmph", turned around, and walked away!
All in all, avoid this place like a plague.

Don't get caught at this restaurant (a word I use loosely).I usually check reviews before I do anything in Bali but htis time it was something we did at the last minute. We used the brother of a driver we normally use to take us down to Jimbaran Bay and he chose this restaurant. Nobody was there which was probably not a good sign from the start. Seafood was sold by the 100g and was very expensive by Balinese standards. The beef satay ordered by our daughter was inedible and was probably not beef! The food was aweful and was the worst meal of our week and the most expensive lunch of the week. Other than the sitting under the umbellas right on the water it would have been a total disaster(inside was dark and dirty). If the driver hadn't disappeared I would have asked to leave as it felt very uncomfortable negotiating the menu.
We didn't get sick but probably only beacuse we had taken precautions beforehand.
Save your money and time and avoid this one like the plague!

Really fun and generous staff but average all around expect for the price, which was expensive. Beautiful view, dancers, very well presented meal and cocktails but there has to be something better.
