Suka Beach Inn has a nice well maintained garden, and great pool. I opted to save some money so I went with their lowest offering room. Rp. 100,000. It was literally a crappy bed and a fan, semi-broken toilet, shower, average wifi and no furnishings. But I knew this going into it - I opted for a cheap room.

It is a great place to find your feet in Bali though. Lots of nice places to eat very close by. I highly recommend "Stakz" - you'll find it by turning right as you walk out and it will be 50 metres up on the right hand side. Post office is directly opposite Suka beach inn which is handy for changing money, sending cards etc. Phone shop 2 doors away as well as convenience store. If the proximity of all of these was not so close to Suka I would give it a "poor" rating instead.

I can't comment on the state of the more costly rooms.

Room Tip: Don't forget to bring, or buy from the supermarket, your own toiletries (including toilet paper...

I like that it's filled with trees and plants, and the workers were really nice to me.
The dining hall was not very comfortable though. It's an open space with just a roof overlooking hte pool. I think its the chairs. there's something about it that makes me want to finish my breakfast quick so I could be somewhere more comfortable.

Stayed here on a couple of occasions. Traveled in a group of 3 and had found it difficult/expensive to find a room to accommodate us around Indonesia. The rooms here are big, with large balconies and they put an extra mattress down to make it sleep 3. Basic but just what you need and we were astounded at how reasonably priced they were especially as there is a small pool and breakfast included. Great hotel to meet people if you are travelling. We stayed in a few different rooms, I will mention that the rooms at the very front of the hotel are very noisy and the balcony does not look over the pool area and so I would move rooms if you get the chance which we did.
Have already recommended it to my friends planning on travelling to Kuta. Really sociable hotel/hostel. I would definitely visit again.

Room Tip: Do not stay in the rooms at the front of the hotel. They are noisy and the balconies do not overlook...

I've stayed here multiple times. It's basic. It has AC if you want it. It has private bathrooms and lockable doors and fans. I always get second story rooms in the rear over-looking the pool. For $12 AUD per night it serves all i require. A safe, cool respite. There is a pool, a sweet little garden area, cheap beer and a few good places to eat a few doors away. It's not the Hilton. The rooms are clean enough. They do not come with towels or blankets. I always bring these, plus pillow cases. If you forget, go to the fist cheap shop and buy yourself a few $1 sarongs. Also, sop at a convenience store and spend another dollar on mosquito coils. Fixed. Don't have unrealistic expectations for a $12p/n budget place and you won't be disappointed.

Room Tip: Bring a pillow case or 2, plus a flat sheet and your own towels. Or be prepared to buy a few sarongs...

We stayed for 2 nights and just got a basic room with a fan. Room and sheets were clean. Bathroom a bit grubby but ok for what we needed. Fan proved to be enough to keep us cool at night. Nice little patio area outside room with good view of garden and pool. Pool was kept clean. Breakfast was included and was quite nice. Hotel is in good location, within walking distance of main strip, beach and anything else you might need. Staff all friendly. Overall you get what you pay for and it's good value for what it is, which is basic accommodation. Would stay again and recommend to others.

We stayed here for 2 nights and even that was too long. We chose a cheap room with no a/c and no hot water. There was only a fan above the bed. We had to repeatedly ask for bed linen as nothing was provided and we got fobbed off a couple of times until finally we got it just before we went to sleep. We also found out we had to pay for toilet roll at reception as there was none provided in our room!! The room was very basic which was not a problem as it is what we expected. However the bathroom was disgusting. The smell as you went in was awful and spread into the bedroom - was really not nice. There were also lots of cockroaches, we had to get rid of 4 in one night and some were absolutely massive!! The room did have a safe tho and a nice little balcony. Breakfast was included which was also basic but did fill a hole.
If your looking for somewhere VERY cheap and basic then this will do, but overall not that impressed.
