This cafe is one of the oldest cafe in Kuta area so no wonder if they are very famous. The food was good with aunthentic touch as well as the beverages. Lots of tourists would come here, particularly during dinner time. The price is a bit overrated but then again, it's Hard Rock, peeps! I came here with a friend, we ordered Chicken Fajita, Chicken Mac & Cheese, Potato Skins, Pina Colada, and 1 glass of coctail and we ended up paying IDR 710.000. It might be cheap for foreigner tourists and not for local people. However, the staffs were all friendly and very attentive.

In general, I avoid American chain restaurants like the plague when I'm outside of the United States. Particularly the hard rock cafe. However, after wandering around the relatively disgusting Kuta late one afternoon and one evening, in stifling heat and humidity, we were having difficulty finding a fully enclosed air conditioned restaurant to escape the elements. After initially refusing to eat here, we finally agreed after seeing the less appealing nearby alternatives.
It was surprisingly good. The place was clean, the service was good, it was air-conditioned and the food and beverages were enjoyable. It is expensive by Bali standards, but very similar prices to what you would pay in Australia or Nth America. I certainly wouldn't travel to come to this place, but if you happen to be stuck in Kuta and need a cool, clean and familiar western meal, here is not a bad option.

I have been to The Hard Rock Cafe before anywhere in the world for no particular reason but we went to The Hard Rock Café when in Bali in April 2014 where we had the best Ribs in Bali, we had to go back to get them again before we left.
I ordered the ribs with Caesar salad on the side. Was promptly served a whole rack of ribs served with chips, a small bowl of baked beans and a small bowl of coleslaw then the tastiest Caesar salad with fresh parmesan cheese slivers you could imagine in a huge bowl, l couldn't believe the Caesar was a side and not the meal size. I only just managed to get through the rack of ribs and had to force down the Caesar salad - both totally delish!! Couldn't eat the chips, baked beans or coleslaw.
But its not a cheap meal at all, not even reasonably priced considering this is Bali - I would even go so far to say they are very expensive for Bali. We could have had a sunset seafood feast on the beach for the same cost. For 2 of us, the first visit - one full rack of ribs with coleslaw and a half rack with beef brisket and a side Caesar each plus softdrinks was about 800,000Rp (AU$80) and the 2 racks with Caesar sides plus softdrinks on our second visit was a bit more than that.

From the time we approached the door the staff were funny, friendly and eager to please. Service was great, the restaurant was clean and they were quick to swap the plates they put down for the bones with clean ones when we were only half way through our racks. Definitely couldn't fault the service given by the staff.

Loved the music playing, the big screen and the atmosphere. Comfortable seating in the booths.
