I visit Bali about once per year and have stayed in many different areas and hotels.
I loved this hotel and would definitely stay again. It beats the massive hotels marketed by travel agents and is much better quality than most of the smaller hotels. Staff were excellent & extremely friendly. Rooms were lovely & clean with crisp, fresh linen on the comfy king bed. Our garden room was quite spacious, though a little more light wouldn't go astray. Nice pool & restaurant area.
It's proximity to Poppies Lane1 is great, as there are so many fabulous restaurants up there.
Poppies 2 is also very close, but a bit busy for my liking, though good for shopping. I also love that it is directly across from the beach; great for that afternoon Bintang on the beach.
I've noticed this area quieten down a bit over the years, as the Legian & Seminyak continue to expand. Definitely planning another trip soon!

Room Tip: Garden Lanai Room

Nice rooms. Decorated in a modern Balinese style. A little on the small side but still adequate. Nice restaurant and food. Slightly more expensive that average. Breakfast was a little disappointing. Most guests are not Asian but most of the hot breakfast dishes are Asian. They boast an Italian chef in the Italian restaurant. More non Asian dishes would be expected. The second morning we just went to Flapjacks next door. They did a great cooked breakfast for $5 AUD. A DJ plays VERY loud music most nights. In our room we could here the distant "thump thump". Conveiniant location. Accomodation and proximity of other rooms feels a little claustrophobic.

Admist in a tropical setting hotel, the environment was relaxing and soothing. The hotel staff were friendly, breakfast was all right with limited variety. We were dissatisfied with the poor seaview with the Lanai Seaview Deluxe room but the management upgraded our room to a premiere cottage deluxe room without hesitation and no additional charges, kudos to that. The hotel is within walking distance to the discovery mall and beachwalk mall, along the way there are alot of eating options. Overall the stay at Kuta Seaview was good though I thought price was abit steep.

Room Tip: Do not go for the Lanai Seaview Deluxe rooms as Kuta is not really a beachfront site hotel

To all the staff at Seaview and Rosso vivo I would like to thank you all for your hospitality whilst I was staying for the 3RD time at your hotel. Every time i stayed here it felt better as I feel it is now my home away from home, the rooms are clean and roomy (ground floor garden view) and the restaurant is of top quality, the staff could not do enough to make your stay a pleasant and enjoyable one. Keep up the good work and we will be sure to come again. Douglas from Australia.

What a gem! We ended up here by pure accident. We were booked in at the Ramayana (their sister hotel) but due to overbooking we spent two nights at this hotel.

The rooms were very nice and modern, yet still all with the Balinese charm. The free Wi-Fi worked throughout the grounds and the speed is quite good.

Staff: The most friendly and helpful I’ve ever seen. If I ever go back to Kuta … I’ll definitely stay here.

Room Tip: Ground floor room

Great location - the beach is less than 30 seconds away from the hotel, which is perfect for lounging on the beach or water sports activities. There are many shopping and dining outlets near the hotel, you'll be spoilt for choice.

We got a free upgrade to a deluxe room so the room was spacious and generally clean. Mosquito repellent is provided to ward off the mozzies in the room and there's complimentary bottled water. The floor in the room is a little grimy, as with the sofa, which happens often in hotels near the beach, so you might want to wear bedroom slippers. But the bed is comfy and clean.

We were given a complimentary 15 mins foot massage each, which was really nice.

Breakfast is the regular bread, fried noodles, sausage and eggs kind of buffet. I would say it's slightly better than most other hotels in terms of variety.

Service staff are always very polite. During check-out, they took the time to check the room safe to make sure it's cleared. In our case, this proved to be a life-saver as we forgot all about the passport in the safe. Had they not reminded us, we would have had a terrible day fretting about the passport.

Overall, it's decent but doesn't quite live up to it's rating and pricing.

Stayed 3 nights in this hotel - generally nice and positive stay and the staff was friendly. The location is great as night life, shopping malls and even water bomb are just stone throw away. Kuta beach is just across the street. In contrast, the hotel is really quiet and exclusive inside. The room is comfortable but very average for the price we paid, some big stains on my bed sheet and towel. They have 60+ channels on TV in many different language, excellent way to kill some time. Mostly - there is NO sea view from our room at all! All blocked by trees and the other block from same hotel. The balcony is basically useless and we locked it up all the time as no view plus scared of insects. The swimming pool is not as nice as it looks in the photos. The breakfast lacks of variaties (we had exactly same thing for 3 days in a row). Next time going back to Kuta, I probably will consider other hotels around same region and decide if should stay here again.
