I read a previous review that said it wasn't good for kids. How wrong. Granted, there is no kids menu with the ubiquitous fish and chips, anything and chips etc, but the tandoori dishes are huge in selection, and if your kids are fine with very mild, but beautifully cooked chicken with rice and yummy cheesy nan bread, you'll be absolutely fine.
They have a real tandoori oven, and anything coming out of these is superb. I've worked at indian restaurants in the UK, and believe me, this is bloody good.
The lamb (or mutton) in the mains is amazingly tender and surprisingly the naans coming out of the tandoor are hot and fluffy. Tip, get roomali roti, much better than plain nan.
Also, the Hattan Aga (the dry local wine) is surprisingly very good, but at $26 a bottle (I know, hard to complain) it is overpriced compared to other places selling the same wine for $18.
Overall, excellent, tasty food.
