I read a previous review that said it wasn't good for kids. How wrong. Granted, there is no kids menu with the ubiquitous fish and chips, anything and chips etc, but the tandoori dishes are huge in selection, and if your kids are fine with very mild, but beautifully cooked chicken with rice and yummy cheesy nan bread, you'll be absolutely fine.
They have a real tandoori oven, and anything coming out of these is superb. I've worked at indian restaurants in the UK, and believe me, this is bloody good.
The lamb (or mutton) in the mains is amazingly tender and surprisingly the naans coming out of the tandoor are hot and fluffy. Tip, get roomali roti, much better than plain nan.
Also, the Hattan Aga (the dry local wine) is surprisingly very good, but at $26 a bottle (I know, hard to complain) it is overpriced compared to other places selling the same wine for $18.
Overall, excellent, tasty food.

We ate here with kids. I would suggest if your kids only like plain food that this may not be the best place to take them.

For adults though it is awesome. Beautiful Indian food, very authentic and full of flavor. Also being located right at the front of the Bali Dynasty makes it very convenient for hotel guests.

When we arrived the place was very full. However, a bit of jiggery pokery with tables later and we were seated. Food really was excellent. It does cost a bit more than other places you might eat, but the quality and quantity is good, so nothing to complain about. We had some experience of slow service, but they were busy and always friendly. One waitress took time out to push my little boy on the swing they have out front (which probably led to others suffering slow service!). If you get yourself in the mindset that you are in no hurry then the service will not hamper your enjoyment. Would comfortably recommend

This was a great little find. On the street corner from the Dynasty we where staying. The food was glorious and when asked for not too spicy they where able to accommodate us. Service was excellent. I thought it was very reasonably priced for the amount of food and drink we had. We enjoyed so much we ended up going twice during our stay.

I decided to visit this restaurant with my friend after we read lots of good reviews regarding this restaurant at TA. We went for late lunch so not many people there. The waiters are friendly. We order butter chicken, malai kofta, butter naan and plain paratha. For drinks, we order masala tea and falooda. The curries was average, we ask for spicy but it came up tasteless, we hardly can taste any chili there. Paratha was ok and their naan a bit chewy and cold. The only things we like was the drinks. We must wait so long for the bill and it came around 31AUD. Overall, we wont visit this place again if we have another option.
