Stayed in Bali Prime Villas - 2 Bedroom Villas for 4D3N

Booked via Internet months before arrival: Great communication (prompt respond) with the person in-charge of the villas.

Everything (airport pickup, reception, room) was ready upon arrival. No time wasted.
Helpful and friendly staff. Their attentiveness and efficiency are incredible.

Spacious and well equipped rooms, bath/shower (opened air), fantastic dinning/living room, and private pool with sun bed and gazebo at the side.

Attentive and efficient staff. Friendly and very Helpful. (Pleasant, polite attitude from the moment we arrival till the minute we left - even several hours after checking-out we were still being offered fresh sheet of towel and shower/bath facility to freshen up before heading to airport).

Great place to be for relax holiday (with friends) or romantic getaway (for couple).

My wife and I stayed here for 10 days in July 2010. The villas area great place to relax from the hustle and bustle of the more tourist areas in Bali. There is a great wifi connection, which I made full use of studying for an online course daily, my wife also had her computer and the connection was fine. Although it seems that all cafes and a lot of restaurants and bars have free wifi if you are eating or drinking there.

The villas are comfortable with a good bed and nice outside seating area. Each pool has its own waterfall which helps to insulate you from the sound that comes from the other villas on either side, although we rarely heard our neighbors. The staff will show you how to turn the fountain on and off for a quieter nights sleep.

There isn't much around the villas apart from a couple of small local shops and Lestari a restaurant that offers take out to the villas. I would avoid the take away from there, we ordered two pasta dishes one night and were very disappointed with what turned up. It may be different eating there. There is a great restaurant called The Globe a 10 to 15 minute walk to the right from the villas. Walk down the road, take a left at the bend, when you get to the junction turn right and it is 30m on the right hand side of the road. Great food and free wifi. They also deliver. http://www.theglobecafe.co.cc/

If you stay longer you may want to hire a motorbike, we arranged one through the villas for 50,000 per day. Just beware of the roads, they can be very busy with bikes and cars and Bali is not a place to learn to ride a scooter. The villas has cars for a single trip to Seminyak or Kuta. Taxi drivers don't know where Prime Villas are, but as mentioned in a previous post just tell them Umalas stable, this is 100 m from the villas and most taxi drivers know where it is. Traffic can be terrible a certain times. On a day out it took us 1 hour to travel 1 km from the villas on the main road. If you really want to go into Kuta often use a scooter or stay somewhere closer. Travel to Seminyak is okay and Legian doesn't take too long. If you want to explore Ubud or further away it would be best to go and stay there rather than do a day trip through the traffic.

I tried both breakfasts and the Indonesian breakfast was much better than the Western breakfast. It is fried rice with vegetables mixed in and a fried egg on top. The plate of fruit could be better and we ended up buying our own fruit. Love the local coffee. Our only gripe about the breakfast is that you have to call them to take away your plates and even then it isn't done very well, often just placed into the sink. Because the eating area is outside you may get ants, a lot of ants and they are very good and discovering your leftovers.

That said, we had a great time at the villas, the staff were very friendly and considerate, my wife enjoyed the Balinese massage and it is a little piece of paradise. Definitely recommended for a few days.

We stayed here for 4 nights. Location is fine- away from the hustle and bustle and short cab ride to Seminyak (the hotel provides free one way transfers before 5pm). Private pool was great, just cruised around in the inflatable donut they provide! The only critisism about the room is bathroom layout- lots of stones and bit of a trip hazard for kids but only minor complaint. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was nice esp banana pancake! Bed very comfy- really enjoyed my stay.

We didn't really expect anything from this hotel upon booking, as it was relatively cheap and the photo's on the website were just a little bit too pretty. We purely booked it based on the reviews, which we hadn't done before.

We were pleasantly surprised. The location was great, the villa's are immaculate and service outstanding. A must for every seasoned traveller. We actually tried to book the last two days before our return to Australia here, but they were fully booked. Instead we booked into their sister villa BNG in Seminyak as well.

Seminyak has a lot of hidden gems like this, still close to the beach, Kuta but remote enough. You do need own transport as it can be hard finding taxi's. We rented a car for $15 dollars a day, which is recommended (aircon and safety).

Simply wonderful!

That's how we'd describe our stay at Bali Prime Villas!

My fiancee and I had a really fabulous time at this villa during our stay there this past weekend. The trip, which was a birthday present for my fiancee, was a quick weekend getaway spanning 3 nites at the villa, and I wish it had been longer, waaay longer.

Even after a 2-hr flight delay (plane had landing gear problems - yes, imagine the anxiety!!) and an hour at immigration (3 flights from Singapore arrived at about the same time causing a major jam at immigration!!), our ground-handler (arranged by villa :-)) was still patiently waiting for us. We knew he had probably missed dinner, so we asked that he swing by a McDonald's so we could do a take-away (for ourselves too, of course), which he willingly did :-)

The staff who greeted us at the villa was warm and hospitable. We were brought to our villa - and that just took our breath away! It's just like how it looks like on their website!! Truly!

They even prepared a small birthday cake for my fiancee (I had earlier e-mailed them for this request). They also had a fruit basket prepared for us (yummy mangosteen and buah salak - a local fruit that has a covering like a snake-skin's - yumm!!).

The room was nicely cooled, the lights were low and warm and the little waterfall at the pool created an overall nice atmosphere to the place (they made sure the room was cooled upon our return from our daily outings too). The bathroom and open shower area was big and gorgeous, and the water pressure excellent (we're picky people when it comes to water pressure!)!!
The bed, which was king-sized, was comfortable, to say the least.

Breakfast was delivered promptly the following morning. I agree with the earlier post - just go for the western breakfast instead of the local breakfast.
The balinese coffee is gooood though :-)

We were blessed with good weather during our stay there, and we made full use of our own private pool, we had a blast swimming, frolicking, and simply having fun! We LOOOVE the pool!! Because it's so private and enclosed, you don't have to worry about prying eyes! Same goes for the outdoor shower and toilet too!

On the last day, we left our luggage at Reception and went on to do our own thing. When we returned at 7.30pm (our transfer to the airport was at 8pm), they offered the use of their spa shower for us to freshen up. A welcome relief indeed, and completely unexpected! And for that, we were most grateful (coz we had been sweating like mad that day!!).

The only downside (and only a minor one at it) is the distance this villa is from the 'buzz'. You'll need to cab it or rent a scooter to get around. We're planning on getting a scooter next time round since we want to be able to jump off and on, whenever we feel like it, or when a shop on the roadside takes our fancy. Apart from that, it is pretty accessible. You can just tell the taxidriver to head to Umalas stable, and the villa is just abt 100m down the road..

Many thanks to the wonderful staff, especially Irwan (who offered to buy the yummy snake-skin fruit for us from the market), Chandra and Ayu. They made our stay simply wonderful!!

My fiancee and I are in love with the place and plan on coming back here again next year - and for longer too!

We stayed in a private villa here in may 10 and all i can say is wow. The villas them self are very modern and we loved the outside living and dining areas and the fantastic out side bathroom (scary at nyt tho).

From the moment we arrived we where treated like kings, the hotel staff where brilliant and made our stay for 7 nyts fantastic.

Our every need was taken in to account with the staff going beyond the call of duty on numberous occastions (going to shop which was miles away for a lighter and another item that my partner needed at no additional costs)

Initially we where worried as the villa is so far from Seyminya (10 mins in car) and Kuta(20 mins in car) however the villas run a free shuttle service which will drop you to each location at no additional cost... however you will have to pay return cab a which can vary from 1 - 4 gbp.

Good Points
STAFF- Can not describe how the staff made us feel like royalty.
Breakfast - served to your own private villa. With a huge choice.
Modern - nice modern villas.
Private pools.
Free Shuttle Bus
Free Wi fii
Location - just outside the busy hussle and bussle of Kuta but close enough you do not need to spend lots of hours traveling
Cleanliness
Rooms Villa very spacious
Tranquility
Rooms

Bad Points
No bar or restuarant (however a huge choice of resturants that deliver within 30 - 60 minutes).

My girlfriend & I just stayed 4 nights & loved it. Private & beautifully designed & built (only 1 year old). Even better than the pictures on their website. Service was friendly & attentive. Peaceful & quiet but still relatively close to fantastic shopping. Big fan! I would love to take my villa back home to Sydney Australia.
