Spent 7 days at the Hotel, found the staff very pleasant and helpful, the rooms are kept clean and tidy. Had a late flight out and was offered a room for free to store our luggage and shower before our flight. Well situated.

My 14yo daughter recently stayed here with my parents, 15 yo brother and a family friend. We had 4 rooms, with a 50% discount for the kids rooms, each accommodating 2 adults if needed. Some with 2 singles and the others with king beds. Pick up from airport was prompt, Check in was smooth, friendly and efficient. We were upgraded to the upper most floor which had lovely beach views. Rooms have undergone a recent renovation, and are bright, clean and have large glass sliding doors to balcony. The pool area although small and overlooked by mcdonalds customers, is clean, cool and has plenty of sunlounges. food and drink around the pool was very cheap, no pool bar, although there is one, management have stated the staff are not available yet to run it. NO big deal really as we dont drink, and drinks can be purchased from the bar at very reasonable prices, around $3 for a mojito, $1.80 for a beer.Although only 3 star, nice and clean, right on poppies 1, with McDonald's and KFC very close for the teens ( and adults seeking a late night fix) great coffee from McDonalds too, with the bonus of free wifi. Kuta box, a new development is located right next door, not a lot of shopping but, there is a bar on the bottom floor, which some nights plays EXTREMELY loud music, up until 3am some nights, so if noise is an issue, ask for rooms furthest away from outta ex. The new boardwalk shopping complex is also a 5min walk with fabulous new shops, topshop, miss selfidges, too many to list!! My 14 yo asked is she could move in there a couple of days. Plenty of shopping and places to eat in the area, Kota steakhouse is good, secret garden is always a winner with extremely cheap but fantastic meals.. Can never fault them..we stayed a week here in Kuta, then a week in seminyak in a beautiful villa, separate review (villa bugis, villa intan) love Kuta, but so nice to have a week to relax in seminyak ... Planning next trip already , would recommend maharani, as its good value for a 3 star hotel and soon close to shopping, eating ect ect.

The Maharani Beach hotel is a new hotel, when we were in Kuta in March 2012 we sat accross the road at Black Canyon and watched it being built. Everything in the hotel is clean, shiny, bright and inviting. We stayed at the Maharani Beach hotel on the spur of the moment and we were not disappointed. The Hotel foyer is bright and inviting, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in Poppies 1, right across from Kuta beach, and a very short walk to everything. The SandBar restaurant provides buffet breakfast, and serves a great selection of meals at reasonable prices throughout the day and night. The room was a good size, plenty of space for suitcases and room to spare. The hotel has WiFi which is very cheap to use, We could not fault this hotel, our stay was very pleasant and we would certainly stay here again.

Our family has just returned from a great stay at the Maharani Beach Hotel. We chose this hotel for the convenient location on Poppies Lane 1. Maharani is so close to the hussle n bussle of Kuta and right on the beach with everything you could need at your doorstep. Maharani staff were fantastic especially Tina and Herri at the front desk...they went out of their way to make our stay a memorable one and they are a great asset to the hotel. We had four rooms in total. Two were on the fourth floor and the other two on the third, all had absolutely stunning views of Kuta Beach. The sunset view from all of these rooms was sublime. The rooms are spacious and decorated lovely each room has an indoor/outdoor seating set perfect for enjoying those spectacular views on the balcony. The hotel restaurant The Sandbar, could not be faulted in any way..we had a large assortment of meals during our stay and every single one was great and very reasonable in price. If you are wanting a hotel that is close to everything Kuta has to offer at an extremely reasonable price with more than comfortable rooms AND great customer service, then Maharani Beach Hotel is definitely for you. Thanks for making our stay so memorable we will be back.

Room Tip: Rooms on 3rd floor and above on beach side have fantastic beach ocean views...if you prefer quieter...

Last week stayed at Maharani, right on the beach at Kuta. We booked on spec and very surprised with our outcome. Great value for $69, which included breakfast. The hotel has recently been refurbished and we had a room on the fourth floor over looking Kuta Beach. Room very clean and tidy balcony view stunning, location excellent and staff very obliging and friendly. Restaurent and bar excellent, pool great and we had a great time. At breakfast met the CEO Craig Biber (aussie) who enquired about our stay. I am sure this is a great place if you want something right on the beach, next to Poppies Lane and enjoy Kuta. They even store your surfboard for you.

Room Tip: ask for room facing the beach

I posted this on TA discussions but realise I should post it here.

When in Bali a few weeks ago I went to check out hotel for a few TA members, I spoke to the Manager Craig and he gave me a tour of the hotel I was
very impressed with what i saw and you must remember it is not quite finished, the lifts go in within the next days
Hotel has nice open foyer and reception area .
The Hotel is just behind McDonalds
The front of hotel has very large spacious bar area and the pool is situated behind the bar area but seperate and private.

The pool is a NEW pool with swim up bar, not over large but a good size ,there is decking around pool with deck chairs etc looks really good. O pposite there will be massage rooms etc which are not fitted out as yet. There is a glassed area between pool and McDonalds but will be blocked out with hanging gardens so nice and private.

Dining area will run from front of bar around pool area and I imagine it will look great at night, they are hoping this area will be completed within days so I will go back for another inspection. The rest is called Sandabar ??? and i looked at the Menu and prices are very good for food and also drinks dont hold me to it but Bingtan 14rp and from memory I think Cocktails 45rp but maybe 35 will check on next visit. Same chef that was at Bali Garden and the food was great there and very well priced

The hotel will have good security plus a begal security dog same as Bali Garden at Kuta

100 metres to New Beach Walk which looks fantastic so the hotel is between market area and upmarket designer shops and good food of course.
Hotel has air con. All windows are double glazed for heat and noise.

Now guys down to the rooms Floors 1/2/3 have shower over bath, a good sized balacony which face the water and of course the higher you go the more you see, I only went to 2nd floor as there was no lift and as I had been shopping all day I was st....f ed but could see some of beach (nice View) . Will check 4th floor when lift is in.

4th floor has sep shower (no bath) and which will be Deluxe Ocean Room, also this floor has 2 connecting rooms only

Now the beds they feel great so I dont think you will be able to complain about bed and they are all new, lovely tiles all through, all the usual wardrobes, safes, mirrors, chairs and bar fridge and TV, and tastefully decorated , all in all lovely rooms

Now the superior rooms are are on the otherside and do not have balacony but are the same size as deluxe and decorated lst class

OK think that is all hope I have got it right, I have made my reservation for next year even though the hotel is not finished I know I will be very pleased with it, and I believe it will be good value and very comfortable and of course is just like a new hotel.

IThe Hotel does not have grounds but the beach is over the road and Hotel Guests can use Bali Garden Hotel which has nice grounds and 3 pools, about a 10 min walk or $2 taxi

Cheers

Longjetty
