We decided to end our 2 week Bali trip with a 4 night stay at the Sintesa Jimbaran. The hotel property located in the hills above Jimbaran Beach was not an inconvenience as the hotel runs a shuttle to the beach every hour which is 15 minutes away. We had a wonderful time at the Sintesa Jimbaran. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious with very comfortable beds. There's a lovely rooftop bar and a bar beside the pool. We loved it!

The hotel staff were very polite and hostile. However, there is still some room for improvement on the overall quality of rooms. please be mindful that it is a Self rated 5 star. Not a third party certified.
Overall very good experience though. Food and facilities are really good.

We have just got married at the sintesa hotel in bali. It was everything and more that we dreamed our wedding would be. The staff decorated our ceremony in traditional bali style and it was nothing less than magical and unforgettable. From the professionalism of the spa and salon to the warmness of the bar ber restaurant that entertained our dinner. From the reception staff to the wedding coordinators and Desy our organiser and angel. Our stay and wedding was smooth, relaxing, beautiful and perfect. We will be singing their praise and recommending them to everyone we know with all our gratitude and hopes that the staff and hotel recieve good fortune, karma and selfless compassion in their lives and prosperity as they have shown us. The hotel is new and modern furnished. They upgraded our room to a junior suite which was really kind.
The pool is rather cold due to the fact that it is in the shadows after 2 pm (big construction mistake)
The breakfast is amazing with enormous variety of food, however, you have to fight with many Chinese people to get one passion fruit.
The location is great and quiet. The hotel provides a shuttle bus to the beach every hour where you can eat briliant sea food.
What we didn't understand is the paying policy of the Sintesa Jimbaran. We had to pay for everything we consumed during our stay IMMEDIATELY. We are not used to carrying cash with us within hotels.

Sintesa is a modern, spacious and airy hotel perched atop a hill. We loved the fact that it is secluded yet only a short ride away from Jimbaran beach. We chose to watch the sun set and dine at Made Bagus based on Tripadvisor recommendations. The only downside to staying at the Sintesa were the hordes of mainland Chinese tourists who invaded the buffet table in the morning. Unfortunately Bali desperately needs Chinese $$$. Our recommendation is to partake of the lavish buffet spread at 6.30 am and get out of there by 7.30 am.
