Our little family had a great 7 night stay at the Sintesa. The hotel was quite empty for the first couple of nights but filled up a bit after that. As it's only a little over 12 months old everything was well maintained and looking sharp.
The food was more than adequate and well priced. We enjoyed all our meals. We used the room service and ate by the pool a few times too. Happy hour seems to run for half the day too which served me well!
The shuttle down to the beach runs every hour and they're happy to drop you off on the way too if suits. The beach is only a few minutes away. We spent every afternoon there :-) There's a couple of corner shops only a 5 minute walk away which we used too.
The lasting memory I'll have of the Sintesa is of their amazing staff. Our 1 year old absolutely loved them all and they were incredibly warm and accommodating. It was hard to say goodbye to them in the end! A special mention must go to the beautiful Ratna at the front desk. What an absolute treasure this girl is and does such an amazing job to make you feel welcomed. We loved her!
There are very few things I would change. The pool doesn't get a lot of sun in the afternoon which is a pity - we headed to Jimbaran Bay every day anyway in the afternoon so caused us no problem at all. A few things are done on 'Island time' but again not a stress at all. Their smiles and warmth easily offset that.
Overall we had an amazing stay and would happily return. Many thanks to all the amazing staff that looked after us and our little 1 year old so well. They all felt like family by the time we had to leave. Looking forward to seeing you all again one day soon!

The staff went over and beyond to ensure we had a great holiday. Atmosphere is very relaxing and quiet. We felt like we were given a lot of attention and made to feel very special.The food was superb. the kids club was quiet but staff accomodated needs and adjusted activities to suit the age group.

This new hotel is located far from anything. Needs car to go anywhere, not within walking distance. The hotel itself has big room, but noise easily penetrate into the room. Can not get rid of flies in the room, staff service was very good.

Book 3 nights but ended up staying 4. Normally when I come to Bali I expect less then what's advertised on the website but this place delivered a above average experience. Could not fault the place at all. From the delicious cocktails (which I had dozens) to the room, breakfast and even lunch and dinner everything was worth every cent. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this place to anyone who doesn't mind staying a little out the way.
