We were recommended Cuca from My daughter. On arrival the staff were very attentive and willing to please and Chat. Was not A busy night. Cocktails were divine and so different. We were encouraged to sit at the Chefs table..what a great experience. Watching the staff at work and the attention to detail. Our food choices were delicious and a very different flavors and combination. We Were So full. However you just cannot miss dessert the coffee Ice cream was to die for. Would go to Bali just to eat At Cuca. Loved Our night out there. Thanks to everyone for making it A special part of our first trip to Bali

You've been warned!

Drink the wine, and you'll be whining all night, however fear not - the cocktails are wonderful.

The very pleasant waitress offered us a taste of their wine (she was espousing how only Bali produce is used in the restaurant), weren't we glad for the taste! Only one red whine and it was atrocious! We happily enjoyed the cocktails which complemented the excellent food.

Bali wine is crap. The set menu includes a glass - another warning.....

A large party of 30 Chinese on one table were a bother, however they were happy to relocate us to our own private curtained off area - service is excellent.

Went there when it was not crowded so service was excellent. Tried 8 tapas and 1 dessert, each dish showed creativity and skill, and most importantly, tasted VERY GOOD. Average spending per person equals what you pay in the sprouting upscale dining places in Jakarta which mostly serve mediocre (or worse) food. So Cuca gives a run for your money:)
There we found out that the talented & friendly Chef Kevin conducts Tasting Talk from time to time, would be happy to catch it the next time we're in Bali.
The wonderful food and venue gave a pleasant dining experience, nice to find something like this in Bali:)

A friend who had recently been recommended Cuca to us and I'm so glad we went. Although the taxi driver didn't know of it (only been open 4 months and owner tells us no advertising has been done) we found it amidst tree lighted grounds, a huge block and a very stylish interior but hey you can wear thongs inside. We were seated overlooking the kitchen and were impressed with the speed and organization of the chefs...so tidy and clean. It was out of this world delicious, roasted pumpkin salad and crispy chicken is a MUST, so to the Bali breakfast dessert! We will come back here again and wish we could be fed back home at this quality and price. Don't think just go and eat there!!!!!

We have only been to Bali for about three days, but we have been to this place twice already. The food is amazing, Kevin is an amazing talent in the way he balance the ingridients he uses in the dish. We loved the cheviche, the fried chicken is amazing, the watermelon salad is supper refreshing, and the grilled squid is to die for. It's a must if you are staying in this area.
