My partner and I were taken to Lagong Cafe by our driver (and was previously told the nearer to the airport you are, the more expensive your dinner will be). Once seated we seen just how close we were to the airport but due to the hype and views, atmosphere etc we decided to stay. Dinner was ok! To me, the seafood we ordered was all over cooked and quite rubbery. We ended up buying corn that some guy was cooking from his cart on the beach...(that was absolutely delicious). They had a 4 man band play for us (which was amazing, those guys can SING and put a nice touch on the night) We didn't order an excess amount of seafood and our bill come to AUS$300. I won't be going back again especially when what would have cost nothing over $140.00 come to that ridiculous amount.

Ok so you get a sunset over water from a pretty dirty beach by Australian standards, the food is a fixed price and there is ONLY seafood, so your buggered if you dont like it. It doesnt really matter which warung your driver drops you at the price is pretty much the same - the only variant is how close the tables on the beach are to each other...my 4 year old spent all the time picking up plastic rubbish of the beach saying it would hurt the dolphins and whales(mum is a marine scientist)...We didnt bother staying to eat...so I cant really comment on the food. but it probably is not worth the setting from an Australian point of view

If you are looking for a true Balinese experience, Jimbaran Bay and the associated resorts is not the place. Ubud is better. Nusa Dua shopping area was probably the worst experience of my two weeks here.

We dropped by for the much recommended seafood dinner and it didn't disappoint. There are 25 or so seafood cafés lined up along the beach, with dining tables right on the shoreline.

We had dinner at Lia's cafe, after reading the reviews here and it was good. They were one of the few cafés that didn't tout and the seafood was fresh and service was good.

The sunset view is spectacular as you dine along the beach and the breeze while we were there made if even more enjoyable. Prices are reasonable, definitely worth visiting.
