“Felt cheated by the portions”
Reviewed February 4, 2013

Food was great, but two dollars for every little shrimp?? We ordered 700gm of prawns and a sautee, but were not happy with the portions. They had no business, maybe that is why. Another place right beside was packed. Maybe they're more honest.

“Great food, great view on the beach”
Reviewed November 27, 2012

Based on the reviews for Roman cafe, we decided to give it a try. The food was good and tasty. Fish was especially fresh. Love the bbq crabs and clams. The bbq chicken thighs were superb! The prawns, however, were a bit disappointing as they were not as fresh as I had expected. The coconut drinks were sweet. We ordered 1 kg of crab, 1 kg of prawns, 1 kg of clams, one big fish (1.4kg), 2 chicken thighs, 3 coconut drinks and one hot tea which cost us about 550,000 rupiah (approx S$70).
Definitely a good experience watching the sunset accompanied by the sound of the waves and great seafood.

“fresh seafood, on the beach, Bali heaven”
Reviewed October 29, 2012

The approach to this restaurant is a bit daunting, down dark narrow street into dark stalls, but you eat on the beach, lovely fish and cheap beer. Children played at the water edge, band walked round serenading us, firework display. Heaven!

“fantastic!”
Reviewed October 13, 2012

We had diner there twice this week and it was great!
The seefood is the best I ever had! The restaurant is really simple, nothing fancy, but don't let that scare you away! Because the fish is really fresh en the owner is a realy sweet man. And the service is great!
We paid about 200.000 rp for the 2 of us, wich is cheap if you compare it with the other restaurants there.
Make sure you tell your taxi driver where the restaurant is because there are 3 restaurants with similar names: cafe roma, cafe aroma and care roman.
The right adres is Jl. Pamelisan Agung, Jimbaran, Bali
Ph. 0361 703124
Enjoy!!!

“Great seafood on the beach”
Reviewed January 5, 2012

Had a great meal of Red Snapper, prawns and crab (all grilled over the coconut husks) and large Bintang for about $13 AUD. right on the beach- how good is that!
