Walking along Jimbaran beach, there are a stretch of eating places serving seafood. After scanning thru TripAdvisor, we decided on Lia Cafe. It seems that only Lia Cafe is fully packed.

The staff is friendly and polite. You can order a la carte or in package. Seafood is good with their homemade chilli sauce. Only complaint is the crab is a tad too small.

You have to wait quite a while as the food is grilled at the back of the house and when it is full house, you will not expect your food to come fast.

The view is good as it is facing the sea. We manged to catch the sunset which is beautiful.

The place is recommended for a decent meal at a reasonable rate.

We must have visited Lia Cafe on an off day. We were expecting a really enjoyable meal, but it was probably no better than any other we have experienced at Jimbaran Bay. We ordered crab, large crunchy prawns and crunchy calamari. Our meal came with fish soup, salad of a few slices of cucumber and half a tomato each, vegetable - watery spinach and the menu said potato, but that was missing. It was all over cooked, dry and tasteless. Three sauces were offered - tomato ketchup, thick chilli and sliced garlic. In my opinion it needed a sweet dipping sauce to make any of the three dishes palatable. Had to ask for something to crush the mud crab claws, and a hooky thing to get the meat from the shell body would have been a nice touch. Three pieces of watermelon and two pieces of pineapple completed our meal.
Two large Bintang and two lemon squash - total bill 495,000RP. Definitely not worth it!!

had tried a few restaurants along the jimbaran beach and I must say this is the best so far. Great food at affordable prices. No need to worry on being ripped off for tourists as the prices are stated clearly in the menu. Komang attended to us and he's very friendly and his customer service skills was excellent. All in all I had a very good experience here compared to the other restaurants there. A must go!

Did not plan to come here actually coz our regular place Sharkey's closed down years ago.
Read reviews about this place like 30mins before moving out from our Villa in Umalas area.
Total 7 Adults & 6 kids...ordered package A , C & D (Lia's Ultimate) off the menu.
As Package D comes with 2 x Bintang (Big Bottle) we swapped with soft drinks, Aqua and juices. We were served by waiter Komang who says to order as much drinks as you like, we proceed as told, glasses after glasses of juices, soft drinks & Aqua. Yes it's true...those additional drinks were NOT charged at all on our bill !!! Amazing !!!
Those grilled lobster (1kg) is to die for !! Fresh seabass and crabs (grilled). The deep fried calamari is crunchy and tasty too !
We will sure come back here again for our last dinner on 11 Jun before heading home !!!!
Kudos to all staff at Lia Cafe !!!!
