The restaurant is decorated in a rustic manner. Don't be fooled by the humble appearance on the outside where there is a parking attendant manning the little entrance/exit.
Went there for two dinners on consecutive nights, without reservation. Thankfully we could find seats for a family of three. The place starts to get crowded from 7.00pm onwards. Can see that even locals patronize the place, together with Koreans, Japanese, and some Caucasians. I'm from Singapore and I must say the cuisines are all Asian food fares. If you are looking for a good view to the seas, you have come to the wrong place. This is a place located along the roadside and my taxi reached here from Hotel Intercontinental in 10 minutes flat. There is a common practice among the cab drivers to try to dissuade you from coming here but advise you to head towards Warang Ilga, which is at least 8-9 times more expensive.
Hours ago, we ordered 10 sticks of skewed chicken (called satay in local terminology); clay pot tofu (bean curd); plate of baby squids; stir fried kang kong (veggie); two coconut drinks; a tom yam soup (spicy and sour Thai soup); large local Bintang beer and of course three plates of rice. A bill coming up to IDR 143000! If that's not cheap, I don't know what is.
The parking attendant managed to flag a cab down for our return trip back to hotel. A memorable and worthwhile trip!
Must go!!

If you are staying at Ellie's, do walk down to Waroeng Kampoeng. The Soto Ayam is heavenly, and just 10000IRP. I also enjoyed the banana pancake. Service is great and our whole meal was $10USD, including Bintang. Fantastic!

Having been at the Intercontinental at Jimbaran Bay for a couple of days now, we were desperate for some good local Indonesian fare, at non-resort prices. Fed the kids from the children's menu at the resort - at least IDR50-80K per child and set out in 10min cab trip to this restaurant; highly recommended by concierge/security guards and trip advisor contributors.

This place was brilliant! Four adults shared at least eight dishes (not huge), three large bottles of beer and several soft drinks - taking bets on the bill we were staggered at a paltry IDR220K. Absolutely fantastic value - packed with locals.

What's more - they deliver to the Resort; so we know where we'll be getting dinner for 1/4 of the price for the kids meals. Each dish is from 8-15K - awesome value.

We ate here whilst on holiday in jimbaran. We arrived at 7pm to take the last table. Restaurant was mainly full of locals. I like that you write your own order out! Sadly they had ran out of satay chicken and crab by 7pm.

Would recommend you try it, great selection of food and very cheap! 5 dishes and 4 beers was about 160k rupiah!

Enjoy!
