Owner description: The Park is divided into seven regions that recreate the natural habitats of our birds, complete with indigenous plant life. You can travel from the deep misty jungle of Sumatra to Far East Indonesia and Papua to discover the native birds from these remote regions. Venture to other tropical continents too. See the South American exotics such as the Golden Macaw and the Congo Grey Parrot from the African Savannah.

“Good for the family”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 11, 2014

I went to Bali bird park today and it has been the highlight of my trip. It's great for the family to go to. There are a lot of different species of birds and right next to the bird park there is a reptile park aswell which is good to visit. You can even get photos with the birds on you. There are a lot of shows on at different times which are also good to see. The park is about an hour from Kuta. It is a clean place, which makes it nice. I will go again next time I'm in Bali.

“Nice, but not $ 23.50-nice”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 10, 2014 via mobile

Things to do on Bali for $ 47.00 (€ 35 .00, IDR 600.000):

- enjoy a full day of sightseeing, including car, driver and fuel, entrance to two nice temples, lunch and a visit to the monkey forrest;

- stay in a nice 3-star hotel with two persons for one night, including breakfast;

- have a good dinner for two, three evenings in a row, including taxes and service charges;

Or you go to the Bali Bird Park...

Ok, it's a nice park, clean, beautiful birds and nice feeding shows, interaction with the birds and so on, but it is really overpriced.

If you decide to go there anyway, don't forget to also visit the reptile park nextdoor (included in your ticket) and try to see the feeding of snakes and crocodiles. They get live chicken and ducks :-).

Bottom line, nice park, worth a visit, but in my opinion not worth the price they ask...

“Colours Abound”

Even though the day was rainy that we chose to visit it was still a great highlight of our trip. The birds are in fantastic health and the grounds are kept in fantastic conditions. Would highly recommend anyone to visit here, the experience is amazing.

“Good spot for photography and kids”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 5, 2014 via mobile

This place is around an hour from Kuta. The collection is complete enough. But what I think different with other bird park is the landscape, garden, ponds and waterfalls. Its combination with the birds is really good as an object for photographer.
We can take picture with some birds and buy the picture at the exit souvenir shop. The park photographer will put the birds on our hand, shoulder and even head. There are also restaurant at the exit.
Beside the Bird Park there is a Reptile Park. The ticket is already include with the Bird Park. Here we can see some snakes, turtle, crocodile and other reptiles.
We can take picture with iguana. And my children seat on the turtle and I took their photo. The officer will assist you to take the iguana and entering the turtle cage. Just give them tip. But you must take your own picture this time. Different with the Bird Park, they don't provide park photographer here.
My kids really enjoy these parks.

“Bali Reptile Park”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 3, 2014 via mobile

Opposite the Bali bird park is the Bali Reptile park - which is a must visit place... And it's better than the bird park.. The reptile park has the Komodo dragon, snakes, crocs, lizards, iguanas, turtles, salamanders and most of which you can touch and feel and interact with... My six yr old boy loved it... He held salamanders, iguanas and posed with turtles!! A super super friendly staff makes the visit more memorable... A must must visit... Skip the bird park and head here for sure...
