Owner description: The Park is divided into seven regions that recreate the natural habitats of our birds, complete with indigenous plant life. You can travel from the deep misty jungle of Sumatra to Far East Indonesia and Papua to discover the native birds from these remote regions. Venture to other tropical continents too. See the South American exotics such as the Golden Macaw and the Congo Grey Parrot from the African Savannah.

i went there last december. i taught the ticket price is one price but they have a different price for domestic and international tourist :) the night before, my friends was not interested to go there because the tikcet price was quiet expensive (around us$23). in the morning, when we decide to go to north, because we want to go to UBUD. after such a long debate, we decided to go to the BALI BIRD & REPTILE PARK and lucky for us, the ticket price for domestic tourist only IDR 89K! So, if u go to bali, please visit this park, because its really fun and bali is not about kuta beach or sukowati market hahaha.. and also u can take a pic with some cuite birdie.. and also in the reptile area, you can take a pic with iguana or some snake i guess.. but when i went there, only the iguana is available to take a pic with :)

We went to the Bali Bird Park on advise from other travellers.
it is reasonable to hire a car and driver to take you there.
we were a bit surprised at the entry fee to the park ($25) per person.
However, the fee was worth the amazing park with the most beautiful birds
I have ever seen.
the park is beautiful with and they have a fantastic display of so many bird species from around the world.
I would recommend a visit to the park

I have been now 5 times, each time we come to Bali with someone who hasn't been there we go. Kids & adults really enjoy it and there are great Bird show's to watch, with the birds of prey show at the end you can hold the birds, loved being up close and personal with a beautiful Owl. The restaurant is nice to sit and enjoy the lovely Park.

To be honest both the times I visited the Bird park, I went to see the Komodo Dragon. Yes there are Komodo Dragons, both in the bird park and reptile park (The best way to see the Komodo Dragons is an overnight trip to Komodo and Rinca islands which any local tour operator or travel agent can arrange, but if you don't have time come to see them at the bird park.
This time I came to Bali with friends but on my earlier visit we were 3 families with little children and they loved the Bird park.
Unlike many other bird parks, here you can get really close and interact with the birds. If you're visiting Bali with kids, you must come here.

Zoos etc are not usually our thing, but we thought we would give the Bird Park a go. It's well organised and they do have an amazing amount of variety in their exhibits.
The large walk-through domes are particularly impressive, and worth the admission price on their own.
On another note, the enclosures for some of the larger birds like the macaus and eagles were pitifully small, and it was a bit sad to see these large birds sitting silently in their cages.
That aside, the domes were brilliant, the komodo dragon feeding (with the handler nervously hopping from on side of the enclosure to the other; all the while keeping a wary eye on the dragon) was also worth seeing.
In one of those 'animal kingdom' moments, we were walking past the pelican pond when, all of a sudden, every single pelican left the water and started waddling toward the shelter of a nearby ice cream cafe. A few seconds later, it began raining. It was torrential.
So we didnt get to see the reptile stuff as the river (previously the footpath) didn't flow that way.
A good day out, and worth a visit.
