The ubud market is an awesome treasure trove waiting to be explored and discovered. beautiful hand carved wooden art work, paintings, metallic curios, clothings and whatever the eyes of the buyer can rest on is just waiting there to be bought.
However, ones bargaining skills need to be put to pracitice here. But we didnt mind paying slightly more as the people of Bali are poor and we dont mind contributing a bit to the economy! However, bargaining to half the quoted price is a good deal..After a hard day at bargaining one can feast on the Gelato bars which are found along the walkway. Nice restaurants like Ibu Rai (Thai ) also serve nice food for the tired treasure hunters...Overall it is a shoppers dream come true!
