We purchased a Rhino Package for our party 6 adults. I booked online prior to going to Bali. Transfers to and from the Safari park were all inclusive. This is an all day trip. The staff were very friendly & accommodating . Included in our pacakage was a 45 minute elephant ride, you have an allocated time for this. We had photo's taken with an oranatang & tiger. The photos were well presented. The staff are more than happy to take pictures with your own camera also. They say they will allow 2 pictures with your own camera, howev they are very generous & take more . We has lunch on the most amazing restaurant, looking out the windows with clear views of lions & Hippo's - lunch was also included in the package. Entree, a choice of 2 mains , desert & a drink. To be able to interact with the animals , was an amazing experience & we will be returning again.

The park was a real eye opener - being able to get up close to the animals was great (on the bus ride) but wasn't a fan of how they deal with the tigers etc for very up close and personal encounters!! Unfortunately we didn't pre-book and the kids missed out on an elephant ride, so it is advisable to pre-book (school holidays). Make sure you see the Theatre show, it was spectacular..... Overall very good day out, enjoyed by all!

Don't go here with the expectations of the likes of Sydney Zoo or San Diego Zoo and you will not be disappointed. It is a great park but only really exciting for kids maybe up to 12 years old. As an adult, we could possibly cover the place in a couple of hours.
We took the Elephant Back Safari package. Initially, I thought it was overpriced but the experience of it all changed my mind and found it good value for money. The package comes with a welcome drink, souvenir (Chinaman's hat), 30 min elephant safari, photo. I'm not including the other things mentioned as they would have been free anyway.
You'll have to time it right to get to view the Animal Encounter show and the Elephant Show which makes the trip worth it. Everything else can be done in your own time. I don't agree with some of the reviews saying the shows are too far spaced out. The timing sort of gives you time to do other stuff. If you book your Elephant ride in the after noon 2pm onwards, that gives you enough time to cover both shows and have lunch before heading on to the ride. Ours was at 3pm and that was the last thing we did before heading out.
Did not do the fun park or water park as nothing compares to Waterbom. If you plan to go there, don't spend the extra $$ to go to Fun park here. Plus show your Bali Safari Park ticket at Waterbom and you can get 10% off the entry.
With our 3 tickets, we got 3 free photos. So we got great pics with the orang-utan, tiger cub and the elephant ride (2 of which were family pics).
The marine park was not much of a park - more like a bunch of aquariums. We hung around for the piranha feeding which was a bit disappointing. They looked like they were overfed because when the chicken carcass was dropped into the tank for feeding, they were not interested and we didn't see the feeding frenzy that I expected.
Lunch was better than expected. We had the a la carte. However, I did take a look at the buffet and I wouldn't recommend it. So when you look at the packages and see 'buffet lunch included', don't get too excited. I wouldn't consider that added value. The a la carte menu was sufficient and we found the dishes to be great and reasonably priced. One tip for the restaurant if you do decided to have lunch there is to make a booking for a table near the window where the lions are. Otherwise you'd be seated in the middle away from the action. We were fortunate to get a window one where the meerkats were. But they're not as exciting as lions.
Didn't watch the dance show, so can't comment on that.
