in advance, i would like you to know that i have no personal issue with this place and my review here is an honest and objective from my personal experience.
i've been visit the two previous park in prigen, east java and bogor. so when i decided to go here, i expect i'd be get the same excitement as my previous visit. but the time i arrive and entry to the gate, that time i know that i'm going thru a big dissapointment. the place itself was very small for a wild animal like lion, tiger, etc. and when i walked around by a tour bus, i've found many of animals are not in a good condition. they're all thin, awful and some of them are got sick. i'm not a veterinarian, but i have some pets at home and i love animals. i know when they're happy and healthy, or when they're sick and sad. none of them here are well treated. i guess, if they can speak up their mind, they'd like to ask some help from us to get them out of there.
i walked around for less than an hour and decide to eat at tsavo restaurant, the dining place that they said we can eat and experienced the roaring of lion beside the window. the fact is, yes there's a lion there (2 lions) but they seems not healthy and it's the same lion i've met when i walked around by the bus. they're not staying in the big field, running and roaring like in a wild life because the place they lived is not that big.
one good thing of this place is they surprisingly serve a good food (even its pricey). so after all, i beg you all not to visit this place, unless you support the management to torture the animals further.
