Very beautiful temple in Denpasar Bali with garden view front of temple. When you come to Bali go to Denpasar city, central Bali Government.

We had wanted to go to the museum but ended up being dropped off at the temple gate. We were two older women. There were 4 or 5 men. The main guide kept mentioning money. " some people give me $20 some $30" we didn't catch on at first then they demanded we bought up some drawings and also give him money. It was really quite frightening because they had " lent" the sarongs we scrambled back to the entry ripped off the sarongs with him yelling at us about what we owed him. I had a ten dollar (100,000R) which I shoved at him and he kept yelling it wasn't enough.I thought perhaps it was as we were woman on our own but see from other reports that's not the case. How can we report this disgusting behaviour. It left a nasty taste in our mouths!

Located in theart of Depansar, this temple also act as monument, where also they rent the hall for occasion for wedding, birthday and meeting.
Watch for the opening hour, where in normal days, they open on 09.000 but sometimes the officer late until 10.00 and closed on 13.00. Have great sculpture but it's quite hard to take full picture of the the temple, as it is very tall and you will need to take a distance. This could be disappointing for they who want to take their picture with the temple as background. But this challenge make you think more creative to find good angle.

It is the biggest pura in town ... smaller than Besakih the biggest Pura in the island, and less exotic than Tanah Lot or Uluwatu which really are very beautiful .. It is just simply the biggest pura in town ..
