love the place and concept.
the villa i stayed was awesome.very cheap with a private pool.
the location was quite far from much happening place but it was my attention to spend my private time with my wife at this kind of place.
however..you can rent a motorcycle or by taxi to near town which is sanur..and there is also a sanur beach.

overall..it was fantastic villa.
the only my issues is a halal food because i am muslim.
but i found halal restaurant nearby by motorcycle.

the staf was very friendly.
i call them to ask for special request, flower on bed and tub with a fruit basket....they fulfill it easily. my wife so happy and it was a great honeymoon for me.
thanks to kadek and leila if i not mistaken for their name..haha

anyway..it was a great place to spend your private holiday far from chaotic place.

Room Tip: private pool villa is awesome never forget to spend time to explore and take a photo around the place

It was a good 45min drive by the hotel staff. The hotel was on the outskirts of Denpasar. It was totally isolated and nowhere near anything but forest. It was not possible to walk out after 7. No entertainment nearby, nor a cafe, restaurant shopping centre. Fuzzy bad signal TV ruined a good movie while we were there.
On a plus point, the rooms were awesome. A bed fit for a king. Minibar filled up, fruits were there. Greeted with a traditional drink. Staff were great. Friendly and nice. Could ask them almost anything. Adequate wifi signal.
So if you are looking for solitude, this is the place. Away from everything.

The resort offers a 'free' shuttle to Ubud daily leaving at 10am and 2pm returning at 9pm, which is too early if eating out or too late if not. Taxis to or from Ubud or anywhere else are very expensive because of the isolation and a lot of time is wasted travelling.
Service was stingy no advertised fruit in the room, mini bar empty, no kitchen facilities in the one bedroom villas, which would have been handy considering the location and the advertised inclusion of one dinner for 2 at their restaurant, when redeemed we were given a main course only, and they would not budge on that.
On a positive note these villas are very beautiful, with polished marble floors, very large rooms and beds, private plunge pools and a very nice large pool in the common area, also a library with some very interesting art books. The grounds are exquisite and of course the Balinese staff were very pleasant.

We booked this resort via deals.com. We got a 2 bedroom villa. Read the reviews and it looked good from the pictures as well.. When we arrived at Denpasar, we were told it would be a 50 minutes drive to the resort..
We arrived at the resort and realised there was nothing around that area.. We checked in to our rooms.. We had to walk quite a bit and it looked really creepy. When we reached our rooms, my cousins didn't want to stay in theirs and decided to stay with us instead. Our rooms were big and spacious with a balcony over seeing greenery. We had three bathrooms, one with a toilet bowl, one with a shower with bad shower and another bathroom with a bathtub.
It was already evening and we wanted to head out for dinner, however the staffs advised us that there were no restaurants around except for a supermarket. We were told to eat from the resort's restaurant. We saw the menu and ordered fried rice. The food was not fantastic.. Something we could have done on our own.
It got dark very fast and it felt like there was no one else in the resort.. Worst of all, we had mosquito bites all over.
After dinner we went back to our room, to relax a little. The TV signal was not good either, the movie was very fuzzy.
So, We tried to get some sleep though.

The next morning my husband asked if we could leave that very morning as there was nothing to see or do there.. We actually booked their spa for massage and we cancelled it too. (it was quite pricey)
We booked the early flight back to Singapore.

We will never visit or stay there again. It was a total wasted trip.

The advertising of this resort as 'South Ubud' is completely and deliberately misleading. It is nowhere in the vicinity of Ubud which is 30 to 45 mins away by taxi. The position is on the outskirts of Denpasar. It is completely isolated with access to nothing but a rice paddy, it is not even possible to walk anywhere outside the resort, not a restaurant, cafe, any type of food outlet, urban entertainment or a village for kilometers. It offers complete solitude if that is what you are looking for.
